Nah, you gotta show them prison life and make them eat prison foodso that they can get in-depth of what negative actions will lead them.
You gotta get creative with punishments and gotta leave a longer impression on their minds.

My great uncle did this thing he called "The Corn" where he he'd grab the side of your thigh and it made the craziest sensation. You wanna tap out.
He also kept a pocketknife and used to put the blade on our knuckles like he was finna cut a finger off.

Traumatize your kids brehsIf you make your kids understand consequences of bad behavior outside the household, they will sure to be behaving properly. Seeing dead bodies, being homeless, seeing gravesites, a "Scared Straight" session in prison life with their own 2 eyes, they will go.
If our kids actually do behave themselves and do well in school , you gotta acknowledge it at a constant basis, because if you don't, they will say "What's the point of doing this?"

So basically you're admitting that this generation today is worse than previous generations.
There was instances of children killing their parents back then (Menendez brothers) but it was so rare and few in between that the few cases it happened became huge national stories that we remember 30 years later.
Nowadays it's such a "common" occurrence that folks don't even discuss it anymore.
Why?
Because this generation is WOAT.
And my children are getting the belt when they act up.
just talk to em with the pistol resting on the table pointed in their direction. make sure they can see the bullets in each chamber of the revolver.
This is also effective!With kids shooting up and bodying their teachers and mentors, they won't hesitate to kill a parent that doesn't appreciate them when they actually behave themselves. A lot of old folks at retirement homes are put there because their grown kids refuse to forgive their parents that went overboard on physical disciplinary punishments.
Be careful on how you discipline your kids, cause your kids will make your final years of your life a miserable place to be in.
I rather discipline my kids by showing them the result of bad behavior as they grow up. You gotta traumatize them with IMAGES and FILM of prison, dead bodies, and amputated limbs if they are misbehaving. That alone would make them goand
A lot of y'all have trash communication skills. Add this with a natural arrogance parents develop where they can never be wrong about anything and you have a recipe for awful relationships that last a lifetime
