Things have not changed much AT ALL in the past 13 years. Not enough for someone to get out of prison like :dwillhuh:

If you need some frame of reference for just how LITTLE most things have changed, I joined FACEBOOK in 2005-

a year prior to the start of this incarceration.

Add to that, prisoners are easily kept up to date through television, radio, magazine subscriptions, and outside visits from friends and fam-
You’re not getting out in 2019 with the “blast from the past” :dwillhuh: face...

Ghostface was on the radio with Ne-Yo in '06, and DMX was only a few years removed from his prime so his hits still got spin...

Some of you were living under a rock in '06 or are just young lol...

Lol at saying there would be no dramatic difference in going in, in '06, and getting out in '19. Yall crazy. Prison is a confined and controlled environment. You can get shyt in there, but in no way or form do you have access at the volume in which you have it outside...

Just being able to live around women again is a major culture shock. The only women you've been around the last 13 years were guards and nurses. 90% of the interaction you've had in the last 13 years was with men. Do not underestimate how dramatic an adjustment this is...

Nothing you could get your hands on inside can really prepare you for the advancement in technology. In 2006, there weren't self starting cars, TVs in cars was in its infancy, the way you can control and adjust options in your ride is enormously different...

Nothing in prison will prepare you for that...

You might have a smartphone in prison but you cant spend all day on your phone, or you won't have one lol. Facebook was brand new, maybe a year old, in '06, and formatted much differently then than it is now. There's a 50% chance that you hadn't even heard of Facebook in 2006 (I hadn't, and I got locked up in June '06)...

There was no YouTube or any of these other platforms. There was no smart watches. Online shopping was primitive compared to what it is today. iPhone didn't exist. Music streaming and music platforms was almost nonexistent outside Napster and a handful of others. Fashion is different...

There is literally too many things to name, you guys who think someone who went in in '06 wouldn't have an adjustment, things have changed drastically...

I know a guy who went in for ordering a hit in March '06, just got out on May 22. That's 13 years and 2 months...

They're not gonna be bugged out unless they're in solitary confinement

What's crazy to me though is how soft Scandinavian prison is, Anders Brevik was complaining that the Playstation games they gave him were outdated
