Let's be honest as much as the word is thrown there is no such thing

One is necessary, but with all the c00ns in the industry it will be quickly disrupted

Maybe if Tyler Perry and Oprah do a joint venture and create a big studio

I agree it is need so we can have more black men and women as the heros and saviors for black kids to grow up with instead of loving comic books with white heros and the girls liking sesshomrau they would like a black anime character

It is very possible but too many black actors wanna suck on the tit of Hollywood. I mean you can purchase a DSLR for less than 1000 bucks, you can purchase a 4K camera for less than 4000 bucks. Tyler Perry makes the shyttiest films in Hollywood but he's also the richest guy. You can put together a full length feature film, that's professional for under 100K and I know some of those black actors you see on movies and TV can pitch in a couple thousand each but they don't.

Honestly they probably can but there is a reason why they aren't has something to do with fear of the machine but the concept is too simple for people to not follow up on it.

Naw no chitlin circuit we can do something way better and tbh the financial backing shouldn't be a problem
I'm sure we can.

Take that chick who does Love and Hip Hop for example, she's doing big things. She found her lane and she's making content. We'd need to stop trying to tell someone else's story and tell ours.

As far as financial backing, I dunno breh. All the networking companies started their programming with black shows and once they made enough money, they dumped them. I'd expect a black hollywood to be the same way.

I don't have a business degree so it's all pure conjecture, I don't know where we'd get the money without selling ourselves short in the long run. I mean, we as black people have the money but I have no idea what the fukk we spend it on.

Of course it is, there's a rich "Black Elite" in Hollywood who have the tools and capital to do it. However they want to be sharing the same table and bread with massa and missy so will never branch out and go independent. Same with the actors.
