the eagles were the no.1 seed in 02 with mcnabb missing 6 games- they went 5-1. the only game they lost was when akers missed a kick late in week 17.

went 5-1 with jeff garcia, and made it to the 2nd round.

management had to have done something right.

So you are comparing the dynamics of football to the dynamics of basketball? :usure:

Who could the Bulls have brought in that they didn't? Eagles could've had Moss for 3 or 4th rounder. They could've had Boldin but they passed in favor of Kevin fukkin Curtis as their number 1. They didn't even bring in a power back to pair with Westbrook. And they were $25 mil under the cap every year. The Bulls at least tried when they they had cap room.

The Bulls played the same way without Rose that they did with him. Both times McNabb went down the Eagles suddenly became a balanced, conservative team.

Randy Moss with Minnesota

we never gave a flying fukk about defense

Wasswa Serwanga/Robert Tate were our starting corners at one point :heh:

Blame Red McCombs for the cheapness and fukkery that went on during those days.

COULDA SIGNED JAMAL CRAWFORD INSTEAD OF RIP...COULDA KEPT BEN GORDON...
LET ASIK WALK FOR NOTHING...
TRADED KORVER FOR A TPE THEY NEVER USED...
COULDA TRADED DENG FOR BARNES...COULDA TRADED NOAH FOR LMA
COULDA TRADED DENG OR TAJ FOR MONTA ELLIS THIS PASS OFFSEASON...
INSTEAD WE ENDED UP TRADING DENG FOR NOTHING.
THATS JUST OFF THE TOP OF MY HEAD.

And how much better would the team be now if they had made those moves? Keeping Gordon and paying him $60 mil puts a huge dent in your cap room the next summer. Would he have made the difference against MIA?
:usure: you wanna pay Asik $15 mil to sit on the bench.
Barnes or Ellis is an upgrade over Deng?
Would Lamarcus Aldridge have gotten them past MIA last year? You really want a front line with him and Boozer?

None of those moves make the Bulls notably better. Now compare those moves to a team that loves to pass and their #1 reciever is Kevin Curtis and they let TO go for nothing and pass on Randy Moss and Boldin...oh and the team was always under the cap.

To add...
They could of signed Wesley Matthews the same year they signed Ronnie Brewer, Bogans and Korver
They also drafted James Johnson 16th overall and Marquis Teague in the 1st round...

:comeon: at the Derrick Rose mentions. His team got the number 1 seed with him missing half the season and won 45 games and playoff round without him the next season. Management had to be doing something right.

During that 66 game season you're speaking of, the Bulls were 32-7 with Rose, 18-9 without. 82%>66%.

what about the bulls not going letting cj watson, nate robinson, and belinelli walk? not going after another playmaking guard when it was clear as day that was their biggest need? monta ellis could've been had for 8 mil. redikk for 6 mil. mayo signed for 4 mill last year. kevin martin for 7 mill. all affordable, but that organization is full of cheapskates.

the eagles absolutely did not go conservative with garcia.

All smaller moves. Do any of those moves put them over the top? Beyond that Rose has missed the majority of the last three seasons. We dont know how good they may have been.

Juan Agudelo, the team listened to the coach and its aging star, marginalizing a young talent for the team and for the United States, stalling his career for a good 1.5 years

AND you don't know what you're talking about. You're trying to imply that the Bulls didn't miss a beat without Rose when that isn't the case.

No. This thread is about FOs letting guys down. When a team is able to win at a 66% clip and win a playoff series without their best guy I cant say that FO let him down.

Maurice Jones-Drew, whether blocked by Fred Taylor or just on the worst team of all-time. This is the one guy I would give a new career, especially since being a RB shortens his career enough already.
