I chopped it up with this girl that I met on Hinge for about 3 months.

To this day, she's the only woman that I've met that I can confidently say is waaaayyy out of my league regarding intellectual ability. Her diction was immaculate. Vocabulary and grammar downright perfect with a background in psychology to boot a (a bachelor's), so you can imagine the level of knowledge that she has pertaining to the human psyche.

I consider myself to be a great linguist, but she would have me asking for advice on how to respond to her texts. Idk. Maybe I was over-thinking it because of just how shocked I was. Anywho, she forced me to step my game up as an orator, writer and detail-oriented thinker.

How did she get on that level? Like what did she do during her days? And how did you start stepping your game up in that manner?

She was always scholastically brilliant. Apparently, she was one of the most promising students in the bay area back in high school.

She was an introvert that honestly wasn't that active in regards to hobbies or activities. She went to hang with friends occasionally, run, and hit the gym. Besides that, she was pretty unnoticeable. As far as I know, she was just stellar at retaining information; she had an eidetic memory.

I improved by [occasionally] getting out of my shell, and by playing word games since that's the most enjoyable way to learn vocabulary for me. The improvements in regards to writing were a byproduct of my energy being redirected from video games to improving myself in the oft chance that I meet someone else like that. Just learning new words and phrases wasn't enough — I had to figure out how to use them in a sentence.

I became more detail-oriented by reading over every text MULTIPLE times. That translated nicely into my job because I continuously type up forms that are essential in parts getting shipped all over the country.

I mean it can work matter of fact I know a lot of married couples who know their partner cheated or cheating. Their Union or keeping their family together more important that the cheating. But there are people who end up paying alimony or child support. You just have to thoroughly vet a person. Thing is you don’t know the real person until you move in together. Me? I’d rather have my own.
