where portions of the movie are so well done.
it writes a how to.
on certain urban scenes and chsracterization.
for our gen in movies moving forward.
the new jack hustler vignette where ice t chases Chris rock. is movie magic perfection for a music montage based scene.
for the love of money opening, you maybe hard pressed.
to find a better music selection in any movie maybe all time. In our Gen I really have to think hard. I wanna sex you up being what it was.
the cokehead simp based love triangle of g money, whore and Nino.
just Nino name is as classically threatening as any in print on said on screen, too.
that movie deserves a good rant thread, actually.

we won't get anymore hood classic because fox does not need to revenue grab off of us.
to get NFL or NASCAR and a news outlet going.

clockers is the perfect storm to me, as far as cinema goes...score, filters, story, camera work.
njd is pure entertainment. i know a lot of brothers not from the east that love to watch it to make fun of east coast dudes

i cant remember the line off hand, but the point of midget was that he would rather die than go to jail. so he was pretty much on the run the whole flick until he diedNew Jersey drive the best one to me,only question is how did midget never get arrested? He got caught in the act stealing a car,on camera jacking a car, runnin from the cops in stolen car.Next scene he walking down the street

i might have to change my vote. richie on the scooter with the umbrella gotta be one of the most brilliant scenes in hood movie history
I enjoyed other parts of the movie more then the actual story, movie was actually pretty funny, especially midget and Richie clowning on Jason
