It's a tough choice between Fresh and New Jersey Drive

Fresh is probably the better movie of the two but NJD's soundtrack though bumps that film up

Fresh the best hood movie ever imo

Clockers is a much better book. Fresh is the best movie of the three.

Clockers and it ain’t close. Clockers is the one of few movies from that age that were graded on a universal scale not just a hood scale. It’s one of the best movies from the best producers.
