No sorry I wasn't clear meant maybe African immigrants could assimilate the same way black Carribean immigrants did back in the day. Farrakahn,Harvey, Belafonte are come from Carribean lineage.

African immigrants politically dont advocate for Americans black Decendent of Slaves. There are no African versions of the Belafontes,Garveys,Farrakahn etc. In modern day times.
