The Dudley boys leaving ECW and going to WWF during BOTH of their peaks....it made them national stars rather than PHILLY and NYC stars, and they're cashing paychecks today still because of it. Its literally the difference between them, and Public Enemy. If the Eliminators had gone to WWF instead of WCW they might be in a similar position as well...and alive.

Lesnar to UFC and winning a title now he has Vince by the balls after quitting on him in 04 when he was getting super push stealing money from the Vin Man

I don't think this can be underestimated. As much as they tried to eat off Shamrock's UFC past, Brock did it when people were actually watching and he practically did it in character.

Anybody that left WCW in 2000. They were on a sinking ship and they knew it...

Luger going back to WCW in '95. If he stuck around in WWF for six more months, he'd have been putting everybody over.

Bret Hart threatening to leave WWF if they didn't team him with Neidhart.

Honestly... Punk leaving WWE. Selfishly I wish he was still there, but thinking from his perspective, it was probably for the best.

Now that we see that any and everybody who really meant something on the roster has been or is injured, he might be fukked up for good if he had stayed around.

Yeah, it was time for Luger. I don't think he was ever meant to be a long-term main event guy in either company, but it wasn't time to see him get phased out.
