now i could be wrong because i never really kept up with bruh's music like that but i always felt like after it was said there were fake mf dooms at a few of his shows a few years back, i felt like bruh just retired because it seemed like there was also no new work comin' out around that time, just kinda recycled old shyt (old beats of his on new projects for another rappers and shyt or unreleased material that had been around but was just comin' out at the time)

i feel like bruh just sits back and chills now

MF DOOM is the gawd. Dude set out to become a supervillain in real life and did it. Elektra records dropped KMD because the pro black anti-c00n/cac content on Black b*stards was deemed too offensively so it got shelved. And they notified him of it within days of his brother Subroc getting killed in a car accident.

Left dude homeless and broke. He vowed to get back at the industry. He put on a mask and started showing up at open mic events and garnered an underground buzz and eventually became a cult legend...probably considered the GOAT "backpacker" rapper, surpassing Kool Keith, Del, Aceyalone, Cannibal Ox, Slug, Company Flow, etc. in popularity and did it on his own without the industry, like he said would.

He got blackballed for going hard at cacs. So instead he became a legend by amassing an army of cac fans, and still shyts on them and says cracker in his raps from time to time. You have to respect him and his story and accomplishments even if you don't fukk with his music.

I'm a huge MF DOOM fan, all the way back to KMD. This post is out of love, not hate.

I'm thinking about an alternate universe where Dumile retired from rapping and he's trying to live normal life with his family.

Problem is he's still committed to staying in character.

So im considering keeping this thread regularly updated with little vignettes of his life in that context.
