Trash fukkin' thread. In the day & age where damn near everybody with an ounce of fame whores themselves out to the public at large, Doom's entire persona is a breath of fresh air. Besides, he owns the single greatest tweet in Twitter's existence:

That was 5 years ago and that remains his only tweet to the masses :wow:

DOOM is in my Top 5 But lets pretend like DOOM is sticking it to the man

Dude has got deals with adult swim. He had a Shoe line, he has his licenced hat line, he had that stint of him sending imposters to play his shows, etc.

I aint got a twitter or an instagram what the fukk does that prove? Not everybody fukks with social media.
DOOM isn't on Twitter, in the same way that alot of old heads aren't on twitter. They just don't fukk with it because there was a time where one's personal life was separated from one's public life.

He just dropped that tweet, ironically, to clear all the fake accounts posing as him on twitter.

DOOM is a guy, who's got like 4 different characters he works as. most of them based on comic book characters and one on a Kaiju.

Dude even had songs where two of his characters are dissing each other. DOOM might take his music seriously but he's clearly got a sense of humor about it all.

Remember the whole freestyle Fletcher thing a couple of years back?

Doom peaked in the mid 2000s

he's still eating off of hipsters buying 100 $ super deluxe special edition reissues
Doom hasn't put out any substantial amount of music since then so I don't understand this rationale.

Not to mention he's still killing the guest features he's been doing on other people's projects.

And good for him anyway. Most cats can't package any of their work to have fans justifying paying more than $9.95. His legions of fans fall over themselves to cop whatever special editions are put out. Dude's got consistent support any time he drops, he's like a more underground :ahh:in that regard

loss can change a man forever. doom manifested his saddness into who he is today and it worked. also, doom can drop whenever the fukk he feels like it. his simplistic special herbs mpc beats will live on forever and serve as "standards" for alot of hip hop head. not to mention i completely stole his whole persona and began rockin mexican wrestling masks as a homage to him.

Is there a biography on Doom or something like that?

this is the closest thing i found, it has quotes from ALOT of people like serch and them, the article is very long and covers his entire orgins from the first album to the present. beyond the fact that its about doom its really interesting, right down to them being devout muslims on their first tour, to drinking and smokin on the second album
