I was heavy into fighting games and it was near impossible to play with that 3 button, bulky ass controller. Eternal Champions was tight still.
Genesis had better sports games and Mortal Kombat had blood
I had both and Snes had better exclusives and RPGs, but Genesis had better action games and ports, if there was a game that was available on both systems I got the Sega version.
Either system you had you was eating pretty well, but overall I gotta ride with SNES cause they really had some true classics on there.
SNES for me. It was the system that made me a RPG fan. renting Earthbound (very underrated) by mistake was the best thing that ever happened. From there I went on to the Final Fantasy series, Breath of Fire series, Secret of Mana/Evermore, Super Mario RPG, and the GOAT, Chrono Trigger.
Mario Kart and Mario World >>>>>>>>>>
SNES wins just off those alone. F-Zero and SF2 were ground breaking too
