two of my five favorites in Ghost and Cam sound horrible these days.
that most Nas verses are going to sound like blends now so i can stop sounding like a broken record about it.
that no matter how much i try, i'll never enjoy Rza rapping...listening to Ironman lately, hearing his verses is painful
Jadakiss really is never going to drop an album to match the talent.
a reminder that Beanie Sigel has been a constant embarrassment since 06
that people for whatever reason like Royce and i'll have to stop being surprised he's held in a certain regard.
you musta been in my head breh :dame:

that first one hits hard for me literally 2 of my favorites :mjcry:

Kamikaze might possibly be the best effort Eminem could make at this point. He redeemed himself after Revival, but there are way too many things keeping him from being a good artist anymore. :mjcry:

Jay Electronica played everyone. He wanted you to think he was coming to bring hip hop back, and then when he got what he wanted out of the game, he left with all his money and now he laughs at the people waiting for a day that will never come. :mjcry:

J. Cole is not an album artist and never has been. :mjcry:

The role DJs used to play in hip hop has long been extinct. :mjcry:

Artists like Public Enemy and prime Ice Cube couldn't even dream of getting a seat at the table in 2018. :mjcry:

We've seen the height of what hip hop can do artistically. The lack of emphasis on skills and the chokehold that corporations have on it will keep the genre stagnant for years to come. There are no saviors, no guiding lights, no new rappers coming in to fix the game. It's done. :mjcry:

Black Power themed songs and albums are almost forgotten in music history. Its like people are doing their best to erase Public Enemy, De La Soul, ATCQ, and even early Ice Cube.

Thots and bytch made simps control the playlists for all social events and radio stations nowadays. Everything catered to hoes for their "safety". This era single handily threw away raw masculinity in rap.

People gonna run with the Nas picks bad beats narrative even when he actually has been a lot more disciplined in his sonic choices :francis:

They’re gonna push Kendrick in the all time top 3 even though you can kinda question him as a lyricist

People are going to talk about Drake being bigger than MJ, Beatles off of streams

The south’s rise is gonna rewrite a lot of history
