I realize we are speculating but its not like its out of the realm of possibility.

First of all, that aint Prime Shaq.

That's like me posting videos of the Spurs/Celtics/Magic sending Bron packing in 07, 08 and 09

Prime Shaq was a monster. And Rodman is not defending THAT all game for an entire Finals series.

He's about six inches shorter and 110 pounds lighter. He might hold Shaq back for a game or two but, he'd eventually wear himself out, get too many fouls and start getting brutalized.

Stop dreaming.

Edit: I just watched your clips. Shaq look skinny as hell. No where near the size he was the Lakers were dominating. Get this outta here :camby:

We are both dreaming lol since the scenario can never happen but atleast I have posted something to support my argument.

Yall really downplaying just how bad Shaq would rape the Bulls front court.

Every team out West had somebody to atleast "contend" with Shaq. Kings had Webber and Divac. Blazers had Sheed. Spurs had Duncan.

This would be Luc Longley's life for those 5-7 games

And yall would be asking FAR too much of Rodman to guard Shaq for the whole series. He'd be tired and fouled out every game.

I legit wouldn't even bother running plays for Kobe :russ: I let Shaq go out there and get 40, 45 every night because the matchup is just unfair
Most disrespectful dunk ever. I remember watching that shyt live. :banderas:

Those '96 Bulls played the magic in the ECFs that year and swept and a young shaq and penny who weren't slowed or locked up to any significant extent...they did them and their supporting cast did jack shyt to help....the '01 lakers ran a more reliable offense (their twist of the triangle) featured a prime shaq that was several levels better than the version of himself 5 years prior and a kobe that completely eviscerated a spurs team that was even significantly better on the defensive end (by the numbers at least, standard and advanced) than the '96 bulls, in route to a sweep...in all honesty, i'd give the '01 lakers the nod against the '97 and '98 bulls...and the '96 bulls go over the '00 lakers...'97 bulls vs '01 lakers, i can't call it...the two best playoff teams i ever personally witnessed at a knowledgeable age

I don't see the Bulls winning vs 2001 Lakeshow. I'll admit I'm a Lakers fan, but just match-up wise, with Rick Fox and Horry still being adequate defenders along with Tyronn Lue able to exploit some speed match-ups/change of pace and I can see them beating winning. Shaq in his prime, Kobe right about entering his prime, shooters, defenders, etc.

Lakers team was just too big, skilled, deep, with a mean streak. Bad match-up for any team really.
