Out of all those listed, Edge was the biggest draw and ratings improved when he first won the belt :yeshrug:

No he was not.

Also,...
To shut this down.
What Bret moment as a positive draw moving forward is on par with the Jericho wins but the title change is rescind raw moment.
That real talk, if it was never rescinded.
We not ever having this convo.

Also Jericho was a better worker in tags and in singles.
if we want to put up the matches.

City of Angels :blessed:
Bret arguably was able to open WWF in markets they didnt attempt before even at the height of Hulkamania (South Asia, Middle East, Africa and rest of non UK Europe)

Yea this is a good point being overlooked. Bret was HUGE overseas.

The only way Jericho is a "bigger draw" than Bret is if you want to argue that since he's been around longer, mathematically he's been able to contribute to more money-drawing simply based on longevity. That's fine.

But at Jericho's biggest, there is really no way to quantify him being a bigger draw than Bret at his biggest because Bret was actually on top of the company. Jericho never was. He was only along for the ride while the big stars drew money.

Bret was a bigger draw IN CANADA (they built 2 PPV's in Canada 1997 solely around Bret), IN EUROPE and in the US.

This is coming from a huge Jericho stan, but let's get real. He's not even top 3 on the list of biggest draws from Canada. Benoit won the strap and they sold out 2 PPV's in Canada with him on top, when tf did Jericho ever show drawing ability like that? Last time they ran a PPV in Canada before Survivor Series he was curtain jerking in a tag team match

Jericho has definitely drawn more money over the years but if we are creating a Canadian wrestling event, Bret would be on the marquee. I think Piper, Jericho, Edge, Owen and Benoit would all have to be considered for that #2 spot if you were trying to draw the most money for a Canadian show.

That being said, Chris definitely played an important role in wrestling for 3 decades in what is probably the most consistent career in the sport.

Jericho is great but he isn't Bret's peer. You can't compare top guys with midcarders as draws. Dolph Ziggler has been on shows that did bigger numbers than anything Dusty Rhodes was ever involved with. Kane has wrestled in more stadiums than The Rock. We don't infer that Dolp and Kane are some goat draws

If cumulative $ is what counts, John Cena must be the GOAT draw above Austin etc.
