Also to stay on topic once Y2J won the undisputed title the ratings sunk fast so using that title run to make a point as him as a draw is stupid

This is total bullshyt. Ratings tanked once they put the belt on The Game-uhhh, especially after the brand split when they made RAW the HHH show.

Jericho did good numbers in the few times he was pushed as a headliner and certainly has the longevity. Bret was on top during a historically bad time for the company which isn't really his fault. HBK didn't draw shyt either during that time and was probably even worse than Bret. Overall its probably Bret over Y2J but its close between them.

Edge sucks and didn't draw anything, fukk him.

HBK's reign was worse. Business had picked up at the tail end of Bret's and went back down when HBK got the belt and Bret left. Magically started to gain more steam when HBK dropped the title to Sid, then again when he pussied out so he wouldn't have to give Bret his win back. Even WWE has always stuck with "the most talented" or "greatest wrestler" line with him instead of biggest star.

Bret arguably was able to open WWF in markets they didnt attempt before even at the height of Hulkamania (South Asia, Middle East, Africa and rest of non UK Europe)

Anyone considering Edge's '06 run a big draw is like when people consider Triple H 2000 a big draw....its not taking into account who was on the side of the ring night in and night out for most of that run (Cena, Rock). Those were the ACTUAL draws.

People were sick & tired of Cena and HHH when Edge came along in 06.

Didn't Edge have one of the highest rated Raw segments of that era with Lita? So you're wrong about that.
I mean anyone could have been placed there given the premise was live sex show

People were sick & tired of Cena and HHH when Edge came along in 06.

But the focus on fans hate was more on Cena than love for Edge it seemed. Granted part of the backlash to Cena was him going over guys like Edge, Jericho and Angle

#5 in 02 draws more money than #2 in 94...those arent equal

THIS.

Bret never drew on par with jericho.
Bret may have been arguably the top heel with convincability in tags during the rock n wrasslin era before macho showed up.
Yet he still never drew as well as jericho did in the attitude era.

Technically, Jericho was never the man like Bret was no matter how u slice it. Bret was pushed as the top guy from 1993-97. When he left, they went full Austin.

Jericho was Undisputed champion but people didn't pay to see him in 2001 and 02. Rock and Austin were the Undisputed top draws of those years. WM 17 blows away any American wrestling ppv record of note and Rock carried the ball like no one else in 2002. Winning match of the year and draw of the year yet again.

Jericho had the belt at WM 18 but was postponed below Steph, Cripple H, Austin, Hogan, and of course Rock. No one paid to see WM for a Jericho match...lol. You know better than that. Angle, Cripple H, Angle, Booker, and even Austin was floating at the time.
