Truth and logic
No I would not kill my child because I was told something that may or may not be true. I can think of 2 people I know personally who were told their child would have serious defects, but the children came out 100% healthy. Another was told the child would die soon after birth, but the kid is 10. I wonder how often that happens to others.

Even if the child would indeed have issues, it is not my place to pay someone to kill him or her.

why bring someone into the world that will suffer for most of his life. That's the way i look at it now but Idk how it would go down if it rly happened
I don't believe in abortions for myself, but i really can't say how i would deal with this. Especially if its a situation where my child would suffer or be in pain because of their disability.
Me and the father would have to really think long and hard about it. I really just don't know.
That would be a shytty thing to do to you're child, so I would abort.
Some suffer for minutes, hours and even days. It's heartbreaking.
A rough decision, but if the child is doomed to a lifetime of suffering
It'll be a cruel mercy :sadcam:
It would depend on what it was. I couldn't bring a child into the world that would suffer and not have a quality of life. It wouldn't be about the having a perfect child it would be about if they could live a happy life. Some defects you can.

My friends brother had severe cerebal palsy. He didn't develop fully (mentally or physically), he couldn't talk, he was in a wheel chair or the bed, he only ate/drank like ensure type formula, he couldn't do anything or anything for himself. I wouldn't do that to a child.

My child wouldn't have fetal alcohol syndrome tho :dahell: you can control that.
The child won't suffer if u talmbout he retarded
He don't know no better

YOU the mufukka that's gon suffer don't spin it like u gotta prevent the suffering of a slow kid

I've seen a lot in my profession. If you think they don't suffer, then you need to spend a day in my shoes.

I've already weighed out such options years ago... I'm scared to pass an uncured condition to an unborn child and have them struggle with it all my their life, like I had to.

Edit:
Even though in the future here may be a cure for the conditions I have, there is no guarantee. These conditions don't get as much attention, so I'm not too optimistic on the rush to find a cure. So... Yeah, I would...

If you would abort a child with a disability would you advocate for killing an adult who later develops a disability ?

Honestly, if I had a major accident and were on life support, I would probably ask that my family pull the plug.

I would not want to continue with life if my quality of life was severely reduced...

My uncle had a stroke last year in his mid 40s... He is now paralyzed and can't speak.... the muscles in his face are paralyzed as well... His mind is absolutely fine... And when another family member passed, we saw him for the first time since his stroke.... When I tell you that a giant was reduced to an ant, I am not exaggerating... And he was depressed...his spirit was torn... And you could see it in his eyes... He didn't want to impose on the family.... He was broken because he can no longer control his body...
I personally would rather not live life as an adult dependent
