TNA Reportedly in Talks With Outside Investors, Executive Comments on This Being an "Exciting Time" for TNA, More

According to PWInsider.com, TNA President Dixie Carter has recently had meetings in Los Angeles and New York City, as the company is seeking outside investors. Carter reportedly had one meeting at the POP TV offices.

Company Executive John Gaburick confirmed to PWInsider that TNA has been in “strategic partnership talks with several major global media companies and investment firms about the company’s next phase of growth.” The meetings have been attended by both Dixie Carter and Gaburick, and said it’s all part of a 5 year growth plan Dixie has mentioned in past media interviews. Gaburick called this a very exciting time for TNA Wrestling.

Meltzer said they were shopping the company and since he said that, Johnson revised his original story to say something like Dixie's looking for investors, but if the right offer came around, she'd probably consider it.

Their viewership has bottomed out. They're done.

Only thing that'll keep them around is that Pop isn't paying them, but once Pop realizes they can get better ad rates for That 70s Show re-runs, it's a wrap on another network.
