"He brings veteran leadership to the team"

Doing what? Averaging 3 points and 1 assist? Where he leading us to :dahell:

They love saying that for washed up players that have nothing left in the tank. Derek Fisher ass nikkas.

Was listening to the radio about two days ago and they were discussing Carson Palmer's acl tear. shyt led into talking about Drew Stanton and the radio host called him a "gamer".

And if I hear one more Wizards announcer talk about Paul Pierce's "veteran presence" , I'm might flip the fukk out. :mindblown:

i know everyone is having a laugh but a lot of the things being talked about in this thread are real.

the intangibles are just as important as the statistical production.

There are real personality traits that are key to athletic success, but most of the ones listed here are just euphemisms for being a white guy

Despite Ka'Trel Carter's mystifying athleticism, you can't beat Billy McDaniel's unrelenting motor. He's just a winner—kid knows how to grab his hardhat and lunch pail and grind out the win no matter what. His football IQ is off the charts, and he knows how stare down the gun barrel and fire a tight spiral. The kid has a lot of moxie, and he has that killer instinct you can't teach. He's also clutch as can be, and he's a real locker room guy.

Best post in the thread. My man said Ka'trel Carter LMAO.

There might actually be something to that because the Heat let washed up Juwan Howard go and had to bring him back for those exact reasons. Juwan is the 1/10 when the trope is true.:heh:

Mike Mayock about Notre Dame White RB Cam McDaniel last year:

"I think McDaniel is making the case to Brian Kelly that look....i know these other guys May have more impressive speed than I do, but I understand how to run."

He's a first in, last out type. As in, he's first one in the gym, and the last to leave. :whoafalfa:
