I Am A God
The Philadelphia Eagles will have a lot of value in preseason......3 QBs competing for the starting job.
Just starting off, but how is this for a strategy? Parlay ML's on strong favorites and single bet ML's on those same teams. My thinking is if one of those teams get upset my parlay goes out the window, but I can still make some money back on those single bets. I know this probably won't win me tons of cash, but I feel like it's a pretty safe strategy. What do you guys think? Am I missing something?
Probably like -500 at the most. I haven't seen any nba or NFL games more than -400, but like I said I'm just starting off. A strong favorite to me would be like the Giants playing the Raiders at NY. What do you think that ML would be?Define Strong ML
-200? -300, -500, -1000?

Aight. I guess I'll throw my original strategy to theI would guess the spread would be around -9.5, the ML would be -325 something like that.
The only time it's worth betting on the ML is when there is a + next to the number.
Upsets happen all the time, that's why Teasers and Parlay tickets are always in the dumpster. Learn to cap

When I do soccer and tennis and boxing, granted it's with much smaller amounts of money, but you don't worry about point spreads or parity or any of that nonsense. Will Manchester United beat Stoke at home? Yes, probably 9 times out of 10. That easy. Just follow the sport, have a good grasp, look at home/away records, make sure there are no trends like a team thats favorite while they haven't won in 5 games, and just make the choice. And there are 50 leagues around the world you can analyze. Same for tennis for the most part.
I also love how they talk about ~~VEGAS~~ in mythical terms but in reality it has about 5% the volume and choice than anywhere else in the world, not to mention you'd be foolish to play their odds when compared to what's available online.
I really don't see how it can be complicated, and after a steep learning and impulse curve I think I've got it down by now. Slowly but surely. Strictly by feel. Have fun with those mathematical models though. REVERSE LINE MOVEMENT!!!
I remember back when I bet parlays and teasers.
come on brehs stop making square plays.
anybody watching this CFL game though? I got Calgary -7 and this whole time I thought the color commentator was some fat old white cac and it ends up being this black guy with a goatee
That canadian accent threw me offProbably like -500 at the most. I haven't seen any nba or NFL games more than -400, but like I said I'm just starting off. A strong favorite to me would be like the Giants playing the Raiders at NY. What do you think that ML would be?
Can someone explain a teaser? Read a quick definition and still don't quite get it.
Thanks breh. Super helpful.Basically it's a two-teamer parlay ATS or against a total and it depends on the book and sport, but you'll get extra points to throw at a total or side.
Example: 4.5 teaser
Miami -4.5 at home versus Buffalo becomes Miami PK and Buffalo would become Buffalo +9
If the total was 53.5 it would become 49 if you had the over and vice-versa if you had the under.
Then you have to make a second pick applying the same rules I explained and above and you need BOTH parts of your bet to beat their number otherwise it's graded as a loss.
Depends on the number you get, but most books offer teasers at -110 or a little more agian, depending on the specific numbers they give you.
You'll find these most commonly in basketball and football.
Again, it's basically a two-teamer ATS or total play with a few more points added or taken away depending on the side you're on
The appeal is that you get a better number, but obviously, you need more than one wager to win so it's more difficult to win

Straight wagers only and I swear to Allah you will make more long term.
