This thread got me looking at lines again, a few caught my eye. I don't like betting on CFB until I get to see the Teams plays once, sometimes twice. Cause of all the turnover with players but I need thoughts on these three games.

Massachusetts at Wisconsin
- The Line is -44.5, does anyone know if Gary Anderson believes in running up the score the way Bret Bielma did?

William & Mary at West Virginia
-
The line in is -33.5, Lose your 3 best players on offense and the defense is still ass cheeks but it's a William and Mary

LSU vs TCU, in Arlington
-
The line is -6.5, I don't know why, I might play this on a Teaser Card

This summer has been a great learning experience for me.....It's been the first time I've actually written down my bets in an Excel spreadsheet and documented everything. From Wins, Losses, how much I'm betting, how many units I've bet on games, side, total etc. I even calculated the average juice I'm paying on baseball bets (since the juice fluctuates between underdogs and favorites on a moneyline sport). I actually want to flesh out the spreadsheet a lot more to include other things about the particular games I'm betting on.....road team record, home team record, off back to back games, shyt like that.

I learned so much about my bad habits.....I had a terrible run at one point this summer but based on my win/loss record & unit structure I should be up so much. I practiced bad money management, thus I'm down......It hurts to realize that but in the long run it helps. Seeing that on paper eliminates those bad habits.

If you're going to take sports betting serious, document your plays.........It's even helped me in terms of budgeting my life because now I pretty much write down all my real life expenditures. Let's me know where I'm going wrong, where I'm spending too much, etc. I account for every single dollar I spend.

My plan for my sports betting is basically to knock out bills. I'd like to knock out my student loans first, then ideally it'd just be another source of income each month. From everything I've learned over the last few years and this summer I know it's possible to do so. How cool would it be to have your job, your career and not even have to touch that money in order to pay your bills. I don't have a car note, I paid my car in cash so basically it's just student loans, rent, cable, shyt like that.....to be able to knock all that out from a side income would be amazing.

When you guys look at line movements what are you guys looking for? For example if it's Seattle vs. San Diego and the line is -7 Seattle. If it moves to -3 would that cause you to put some money on San Diego to cover? Conversely, if it moves from -7 to -10 would that cause you to make a bet for Seattle to cover?

Don't just jump in to this thinking you fixing to get some quick money. You gatta know your sport and teams, injuries etc. Gambling's addicting so be careful too.

I used to gamble on the regular at the Hilton in Seoul, Korea. Win 3,000 some nights, lose 500 others. I know how addictive it can be, that's why I'm only playin on occasion.

I only used 5Dimes once for a hit and run during the NBA finals and they were pretty good. Their site's layout is circa 1999, but they offer the most options for American bettors on the internet. Never seen the amount of wagering options they have anywhere else.

You should also checkout a place called youwager.eu, they're one of my favorites and I'm using them right now.

I like using Bovada occasionally if I want to make a super quick deposit for the fukk of it, like a quick $40 bet I'm really confident in.

But I usually stick to youwager, 5dimes, or Bovada.

You have any questions though feel free to hit me up. I went 6-7 months without working a real job thanks to gambling :lolbron:

I only bet football, so I have been waiting what feels like forever to start betting again. I really started taking it serious last year and I documented all my bets. I have teams, spreads, juice, results, point difference, current record, division, time of play, etc. listed and try to look them for trends or to develop systems to bet. I listen too a lot of different podcasts that go over the NFL lines each week and talk about certain lines or games that have value in them. I also do extensive research on all the teams offseason development because I think you can get a good jump on the books if betting the first 3 games in the season when no one really knows how teams are going to play out. Bought the NFL preseason ticket where I have condensed versions of every preseason game that you can knock in 30 min, also just got madden 25 which comes with NFL Sunday ticket so I am set.

Can't wait, Can't wait! :damn:
