I wouldn’t sign Becky for my team the Cavs but some teams I could see her fitting in that are in some places Sacramento, Indiana, Minnesota, Orlando, Portland, washington are all teams I think should consider her. Clearly she wouldn’t be all of these teams first options. Some of these teams don’t even have job openings

So her putting in the work as an assistant coming up the ranks and her actually being a former all pro baller don’t give her any coaching credibility?
Coming up the ranks? She been an assistant on one team for 7 years. :russ: Patrick Ewing was a assistant for 15 years and had to go to college to get a head coaching gig. Monte Williams was an assistant coach for 15 years on 4 different teams before he got a gig. Its tons of coaching who actually worked their asses off on multiple teams, and moved up the ranks to get a head coaching gig. Spurs ain't won a ship since she became a coach. Matter of a fact they won a ship the year before she came. Bu bu but she learned from Pop! :damn:

Only teams that would make sense are the Magic or Kings. The rest are trying to contend for the next couple of years.

Difference is the league is mostly black males not white women. It's not like white women are lacking job opportunities. There's a whole entire league for her...the WNBA.
The WNBA and women’s hoops college and below is full of male HC’s, not sure how y’all have issues with the reverse, especially given she actually played professionally. Furthermore, NBA players are professionals, not man children like HS and college, if there is any level where I think the men are mature enough to have a female coach, it’s the NBA

I think a woman coach would actually be better at the college and lower levels because there is still the adult leading kids dynamic. At the professional level, I am not sure. :patrice:

There are plenty of women coaches at the high school level (not a high %, but several in every state). And Tamara Moore just became the coach of a JC in Minnesota.

Not at all. There’s a maturity level and professionalism at the NBA level that’s not present with teen boys, they disrespect grown women all the time. And while they know they’re not as athletic, nba players respect WNBA players
