It might be like $2k and they go to the buy here/pay here car lot and get a car. A few months later, that car is repo'd and they back dragging their kids on the bus.

The money was donated by people who wanted to help her get OUT of her situation.

The judge/prosecution/whoever told her she needs to put a portion in a trust for the kids to ensure what happened with not having childcare or a place to stay doesn't happen again.

From the news stories, its various accounts on how much she actually has left or what she's done with the money.

If it was me, I would take care of any behind bills and debt then acquire housing and pay the bills on that for a year. Plain and simple. After thats taken care of, then the trust will be created and if the judge has an issue then we'll handle it in court. I'll be prepared to show the judge receipts and bank statements to show where the money was going.

in other words... you'd be right up in court next to her for the same damn reason

The trust fund is for their college education.....The court didnt mandate putting money to the side to help her out in case she gets unemployed again. She is grown and 70k is plenty to get her off her feet.

She didnt want to put the money in the trust because the trust said "if your kids are not enrolled in college...they dont get access"
