Most street fights last a matter of seconds, so this endurance talk you're giving isn't really applicable unless it's a sanctioned fight with rounds.

They'd most likely grab you and lock you up and choke you out/make you submit.

The thing you skinny guys don't get is, just because you're big doesn't mean you're slow. If you're athletic and strong, you'll have a mean first step and be able to get all in someone's space real quick, even if you're big.

Endurance doesn't just mean running around all day, it means having the ability to continue to hit with the same intensity each time you hit.

And in a street fight YOU control what happens, if I can tire you out, I will find ways to do it. The fight doesn't just start when we start punching, it starts when the shyt talking starts. It's a mind game, if I can get you to keep moving, and getting angry, I got you because most people don't think right when they're mad, so that means wild punches will be thrown. Wild punches tire you out.

I've been fighting since I was a young kid. I thought it was normal to fight a lot, until I realized most people barely had one fight. Big guys are the ones who get the easiest fall, most of the time, because they think having muscles is all they need.

This only works for most people that have some kind of experience when it comes to fighting. A fight can end in an instant if you don't know what the hell you are doing. I agree that muscle endurance and using your brain is the key.

A lot of people who lift heavy weights, have poor endurance. I seen a big guy lift heavy weight, but when it came to holding something that was probably 8 pounds, he couldn't hold it for long. I also notice the same thing when its time to run. I seen a guy who looks like he had leg strength, legs started cramping after a minute of jumping. While a skinny guy kept going.

What's the point of having strength, if I can knock you out just from running around, and making you tired?

What is crazy to me is, out of all the people who have been lifting heavy weights, and even people who don't, but they take exercise seriously, throughout the decades, I've never seen anyone who still looks young! Their bodies may look young, but their faces still look old. shyt is crazy.

First of all, there in something called muscle endurance.. Has nothing to do how fast or far you run. It's something like that same powerlifter in the post most likely being able to squat 225 about 40-50 times if he wanted to. Can you do that breh? Can you even get it 20 times?

You seem one big guy lift something but was he a powerlifter? Or even a football player? I've seen powerlifters dunk a basketball. Some were ex NCAA athletes. Barry Sanders trained in powerlifting workouts when weight training which is what I patterned my workouts after when I was wanted to play football.

Most of these dudes are surprisingly athletic and their lifts are extremely functional and shyt not even your average NFL player couldn't do.

Lifting atlas stones, lifting/carrying logs, carrying 2 motorcycles for certain distances, pulling trucks and shyt... Gtfoh. These are not your average gym rats... You won't see these cats at LA Fitness. That layer of fat is necessary for energy being used to complete their lifts. They are not bodybuilders

No doubt if that's what hey want to do, more power to them, BUT, they are making their lives harder.

First, it might be taxing on their system. We don't know yet, but that is a lot of stress on their bodies. Not just the lifting, but eating all that protein to get the large muscles.

Secondly, if they get into a fight, and the person is aware of their weak endurance, it's a wrap for them. They just have to make them chase them, get them tired, then fukk them up. Why have all that strength, and you can't defend yourself?

Thirdly, they have to eat a lot of food just to maintain that strength, and that means they have to find all types of ways to get money just to eat and live. That's less money for their future, their families future, and to do things.

I do like it because it shows what the body can do when trained, but I need to come up with a better routine because there are too many negatives associated with the way they gain enormous strength.
so when you get into a fight with a powerlifter, that's your strategy :russ:

Run away until they get tired then run back and fukk them up? Or do you expect to have as much room/space as a ring or cage?

What's your PR hang clean record breh... Most powerlifters can atleast clean and press 315... Do you understand how much power/endurance is needed just for that?

No one is saying they should be boxers or some type of fighters... If they wanted to they could and would be beastly but that's a different type of wear and tear and not everyone is about that kind of lifestyle
