Baltimore is a different city. I remember a Lil girl selling cookies and squeegee kids were on the same block. The squeegee boy reached in her money jar and she reached in her purse and upped on that lil boy. Left me like

They're gonna get them for the Gun knowing MD's laws but now that I think about it, in that Jose Alba case in NY can you even legally have a knife on you in your workplace? This is conjecture and doesn't really track with my posting history. You and others are racializing this shyt because a cac hopped out with a bat and a Black kid shot him to death.
While folk are in here chreering, keep in mind why those kids were out there in the first place, they are desperate for money, so desperate that they are gathering in large groups in attempt to render services that NO ONE WANTS. And now there's a heavy police presence on the corners they'd normally be working.
They still need money and have now been cut off from one of the few legal ways they've found to get money but "yay" a cac is dead.

It’s safe to assume everybody in Baltimore strapped up at all times.
That’s why most grown people in Baltimore are actually very respectful because no there’s no telling what might happen to you if you come at people the wrong way. Baltimore ain’t like NYC where nobody want to get caught with a gun. Baltimore stuck in the 80’s, there’s no cameras anywhere and most murders go unsolved.I ain’t defending the cac because he look like a wannabe tough guy who drive a big ass truck, tries to run people off the road, starts fights at bars etc. But them squeegee boys known for being outta pocket disrespectful. Ripping windshield wipers off cars, kicking car doors, spitting in people face, literally opening up unlocked car doors and smacking folks because they declined to have they windows smeared with garbage water.
The whole squeegee boy business model is janky because your car has wipers and washer fluid already.What the cac did was attempted murder. But it’s an unfortunate situation all around. What would you do if you were at an intersection in Baltimore and a squeegee boy spit in your face and flashed a pistol in your face? Nothing.

I given money to these kids often. All are not bad but there are too many incidents where drivers are being attacked, and NO not just cac drivers.

This was a great discussion a local Baltimore show on the squeegee issue. I did notice a pattern from the callers, men were more about these kids being responsible and the women seemed to make more excuses.

They’re out there hustling (albeit being a nuisance) and you have an issue with that as well. Black people have no wins with people such as yourself.
