Yeah...I think the days of the coach having both jobs is probably over.

Doc, Thibs & SVG all bombed
Common bond with every situation: each spot felt the need to offer that kind of autonomy just to get that person there in order for others to take those organizations seriously.

You can't be this stupid :mjlol:

Of course he'd have retained his job. He'd retain his job if he had LeBron instead of Kennard and Steph jnsinst of Reggie. But it's not relevant because he isn't being blamed for not drafting the kid.
What’s he being blamed for

Lol @ “if he had Steph or Lebron” as if he had the same ability to acquire those players as he did with his draft picks :mjlol:

Jesus Christ where do you bozos come from

I bet the next Piston's coach will never have an iconic shot like this in the D.
WTF is happening in this photo :mindblown:

Why are Pistons players on bicycles :mindblown:

Why is a fat man wearing a zip-up hoodie...doesn't he know those only make you look fatter :mindblown:

Why is the sun out...the sun never shines on Detroit...especially their basketball franchise :mindblown:

Why is a 8 foot cac wearing a beanie...lookin like a poorly fitted condom :mindblown:

Zeke :troll:

Players have so much authority now it's hard to be a coach and GM unless you are legendary at coaching.

Decent coach/GM yells at a player after a game after a benching

Player: So you gonna trade me? You know damn well that play was your fault
Coach: I don't know breh, that's up to the GM, I'm just the coach :hubie:. You know I like you as a player
Player: :aicmon: you are the GM
Coach: oh really :troll:

having multiple positions is just a set up to lose all your damn jobs at once. :mjlol: I remember when ML Carr was the GM and made himself the Coach of the Celts, I said this aint gonna end well for him. lol. only person I recall recently to not get fired altogether was Doc.

Im talking consecutive picks under the same FO. The Cavs only got Kyrie - Wiggins, Bennett, and Thompson arent that level.

Philly still has to wait on Fultz, and he's a pick from a different Front Office.

The Warriors drafted Steph and Klay but weren't sure about Draymond. They weren't even going to play him at all under MJ. Kerr saw him practice in training camp, and when Bogut got hurt he got his chance. They didn't know he would be this good.
Bruh there has been numerous teams to hit on multiple lottery picks. While van gundy can’t hit on none. 3 lottery picks he comes away with a cat who hopefully can be as good as jj reddikk. :picard:

Trading for griffin was a last ditch chance for him to keep his job if it worked. If it doesn’t oh well he rides off into the sunset and his grand kids kids are now set for life. :scust:

And us pistons fans gonna he looking at 33year old Blake making 40 million dollars and playing 40 games. :martin:
