This is the woat retort ever. That one single game completely turned Bron's career around and saved him from mega slander. You can't say that for anyone else.

the woat retort for the woat argument breh. :manny:

before jordan won his 1st title, you dont think he was getting criticized left and right?

people used to call him a choker. yeah he was a great individual player but nowhere near a great player.

Jordan had to learn to trust his teamates, bron had to learn to trust himself. Bron reached 3 nba finals and won a title at 28. Jordan won his first at 29 :yeshrug:

Bron's career is not even over yet so he has time to win more rings cause that seems to be the main knock on him.

Why do you say that? With the same game he had in his prime + how the refs officiate + no handchecking you don't think Jordan's numbers would at least be slightly better?

You have to put EVERYTHING into context. Defensive schemes, p-defensive players, team makeup, minutes management, etc etc. His #s wouldn't be too different to what they are now (gun to my head: his #s would be under par). And don't be bringing up how refs officiate - MJ got calls on the regular.

I dont agree with Stan's opinion..but he's hardly a youngin

you got

bird
west
pippen
barkley
etc,

saying bron is either gonna end up being better than him or is at least as good as him.

You tell me they dont know their shyt?

:mindblown:...everyone sees his potential to be one of the GOATS, but at this moment that's all it is. It's all about perspective. Bron looks different, so it seems like he's doing something different when he's really not. His MVP numbers last year were essentially MJ's rookie season numbers! As dude stated earlier in the thread, MJ finished a season with a 30 + ppg, 8 boards, 8 assists, 3 stls, and 1 blk on 54% shooting! We've seen what Bron is doing before, but just not in this package. People are enamored by his size and athleticism and the possibilities that can be reached. If you asked someone to describe Larry Bird's game, they go straight to the shooter/scorer angle....even though Bird was a double digit rebounder. Perspective. Bron is still battling to seperate himself from a 24 year old in OKC who happens to be putting up similar numbers. Their games look different but 29 ppg, 4 assist, 7 rebs on 50/40/90 shooting isn't THAT much different than what Bron is doing now...but his LOOK different...perspective.

What kind of numbers can show you Lebron effectively guarding the 1 through 5?

Breh, I'm a Heat fan; I have never seen Lebron guard the 4 and 5 effectively because he hardly play defense on the 4 and 5. In fact, when Boozer, Melo, West,Jefferson, Alridge, and Hibbert goes ham againt my home team, Lebron didn't play defense against them.

If Mike played in Todays League he'd get to the line 15 times a game

LeBron is great though.

Jordan just had the perfect package of finnese, power and speed

...MJ averaged 6 assists his rookie year and had a season averaging 8 before he won a title. Where does that equate to not trusting his teammates? His first playoff series he avg 8.5 assists! Does that sound like someone who doesn't trust his teammates and someone who's just a great individual player. You're spewing crap you've heard...no way you watched MJ for real.

The shyt i read on here........ Getting assists doesnt always equal trusting your teamates in late game situations breh. If you seen him play you know plenty of time he did passes out of shots. and yeah i've seen him play breh. i've been watching the nba since the early 90's.

What the fukk? nikkas on here doesnt even try to make sense nowadays. :why:

Why you think he kept getting his wig pushed back by the pistons before 91?

Imagine Jordan scoring 8 points in a Finals game and lookin like he generally didn't want to be there :deadrose:

Kobe scored 8 points in a finals game Los Angeles Lakers at Indiana Pacers Box Score, June 16, 2000 | Basketball-Reference.com

Lebron is better shooter
Both have extremely high BBIQ so that's a wash
MJ isn't in Lebron league in terms of defense or post-up game.

:what:

Lebrons post up game is not even close to jordans. You're exposing yourself

:comeon:

27ppg, 8 reb, 4 assist
29ppg, 5 reb, 6 assist
32ppg, 7 reb, 6 assist

The better questions is, do those numbers look like MJ was the REASON the Bulls got beat by the Pistons?

And I noticed how you added "in late game situations" after getting owned about MJ just being a great solo act that didn't trust his teammates. To get a feel for what kinda teammates MJ had to trust before he started winning...MJ led the team in 4 statistics his rookie year! It's ok to admit that highlights of MJ doing work on offense has you confused about how great of an all around player he was as soon as he stepped foot outta Chapel Hill.

Nice way to move the goal post.On one hand kobe stans say "Kobe had 3 rings by age 23!!!" but when kobe score 8 points on 20% he was "inexperienced".Jordan and Lebron can't score 8 points in a finals game like kobe did and still get a championship.Just shows how kobe Benefited from playing with shaq for 3 rings

You dont see me mocking Lebron's first finals, do you? He was young & inexperienced. So he got swept. I let that one slide :gladbron:

Even though I shouldn't because he actually played better in that one :gladbron:
