I can't knock the man because it seems his intentions are pure. However this is America and the family court system has a way of taking nice guys such as this and taking advantage of their kindness. If something bad were to go down between dude and his kids mom she make a whole lotta claims that the court will support. She can claim that because he is like a father to the second child she should get childsupport and the court will grant it because there are stories like this of men who dated single mothers moved them in there house and then broke up with them only to be forced to pay child support due to the whole best interest of the child statement. Morally I think what he's doing is cool, but legally its gonna bite him in the ass, mark my words cuz it always happens to nice guys like him.

at the end of the day the child is the one that suffers. The mother clearly has some problems.
But doesn't mean the kids need to suffer.

I never said that the mother shouldn't be held accountable and punished in some way. But don't use the kids to do it.

Do you have kids? or have you grown up in a broken home?
I can say yes to both and I don't wish that anyone kid should have to go through this situation.

That father is doing the best he can to give his daughter a better life. and her SISTER, is a big part of her life.

This ain't about him being a sucker/simp for his ex bytch honestly. It's not like the ex hoe is asking him to pay her rent, phone, utilities and using the kids as a excuse to gain those resources for herself.

Dude is just taking the other girl with his biological seed to promote a sense of unity/family to her which is important for a child's development.

His current broad shouldn't really sweat that if she's solid with your boy.

Anyway that's a tough/awkward situation I wouldn't want to be in, but I say the positives outweigh the negatives in the long-run.

I feel your post for the most part. But let's not act like the kids always suffer. Cause in this case they are not. That being said lots of others suffer cause of someone using kids as pawns or as a means to a free meal. Just like they play the govt. the play a nice guy willing to do what he can to help.

When you have women who birth kids cause of spite, jealousy, envy, financial gain, neglect etc. you tell me where to draw the line breh?
