I rewatched return of the Jedi this past week because...it rules...and Mothma was a nothing character to me before this series, but even here

She acknowledges, very specifically, how people have died for the info she's briefing on. This show does an outstanding job showing why this is a core part of her character. Her whole life went into that mission briefing.

This shyt is so good, I can't believe we accepted the absolute bullshyt they fed us with the book of Boba Fett and even most of Mandelorian and Boba Fett.
I really need the behind the scenes story as to how Gilroy was able to cook and be left basically alone, with some budget issues being his only real constrains (from his own words).

I get he's close to Kathleen Kennedy but there's gotta be something else. Him being able to create this masterpiece in Disney's Star Wars is :mindblown: in the context of every other live action media content we've been given. Filoni's got his own corner but that's clearly the more "family friendly" content and more cartoon-esque.

Instant classic.
Ep 9. is not far behind, I'm legit in awe at what Gilroy wrote.

Syril is probably my favorite character.

He craved order and justice but couldn’t see until the end that the Empire is neither. He started as a cog and ended as a cog.

” Who are you?”

None of it mattered. Turned a bunch of people who actually did trust him into meatloaf.

Other than Andor, mine are Krennic if he counts, and this smug b*stard

I’m always an empire guy. Palpatine is maybe my favorite villian ever, with only Lex Luthor and Darkseid close…followed by
Tarkin, Vader, and Krennic for starwars villians.

I wonder what will Luthen's end will be. Maybe he takes down Dedra or Pendergast to save the secret of the rebel base in Yavin? We know that by A New Hope the Empire doesn:t know where it Is (Leia's interrogation) and that the ISB ain't in charge of that kind of intelligence mission it anymore.
