Finished up my rewatch man the symbolism of coming back Ferrix. Maarva Andor's speech was on point and Luthen being moved spoke volumes about his character. Much like Maarva he cares for the cause, but he is not on the frontlines so he doesn't know the gravity of the lives that are lost. The mission on Aldhani is one example when it came as a victory in the longterm for the Alliance, but he was less affected by the lives that were lost because he didn't see them.
Meanwhile, for Cassian the last time he was on Ferrix, he was basically lost & on the run. After the experience in the prison, he finally started to understand what they were fighting for. A very bold move to meet up on Luthen's ship. Essentially, let me join or kill me. With everything that happened on Ferrix there is no point in killing Cassian if he is willing to provide aid.
This season was truly the journey for Cassian to understand why his mom is a rebel and how he became one.

- Something's to watch. How do Vel & Cinta react to Luthen allowing Cassian to join the cause after ordering his death. Especially considering Vel is Mon Mothma's cousin. Though Cassian's experience of the Prision is a big boost for Luthen to use.
- Mon Mothma got more and more fukked as this season on. Leading to what looks to be a potential arranged marriage for her daughter. How she manuvers through this or will she break?

First 3 episodes of S2 are fine, probably the best SW has ever looked but not sure if anything really happened important other than the

Nice start so far. Slower and subtle but intriguing where it goes.
Man first time we see Cassian after a year has passed and things really not going as planned. That planet he was on seems to be Yavin IV. So much chaos with leaders dying and who left them behind. Forget about fighting the empire, they are fighting themselves now. And who knows what makes of these people after Cassian gets away. Hell, after all the shyt that is going on, no wonder Cassian just says fukk and wants to meet up with Bix and the others. They all would have been screwed if not for Cassian. Brasso being dead hurts 
. He is a real one for faking the old man set him up, so his family could get less oppression from the empire. Between that and the attempted rape on Bix, just shows the empire can do whatever they please.
Mon's life actually looking worse. As the episode draws further her anxiety heightens, and she literally just says fukk and gets drunk and starts to dance. Given how Vel looked at the one picking up Tay and it was different. You really get the sense that Luthen most likely realized he is a liability at this point to Mon and she is a valuable piece of this rebellion. It's easy to forget he ordered a kill on Cassian back in the beginning part of the 2nd half of S1.
Finally, someone puts Syril's mom in her place because she is annoying af. Although Syril and Dedra being together after how the finale ended is amusing
. Though with her current situation after what happened in Ferrix, she might be close to the chopping block. Given the experience in Ferrix, she has major doubts she can do what Krennic expects from her.

These first 3 episodes were kind of boring to me but the first season was so good I’m locked in anyway.
