Naw white rice is a great source of quick carbs at reasonable levels assuming you aren’t doing “sugar” elimination. Otherwise reap the benefits for training.

What's your purpose? If it's for losing weight and not general health, consider the fact that you can eat nothing but Twinkies all day and still lose weight. It's all about calories bro. You don't have to go on a restrictive diet to lose weight, just have to watch how many calories you're intaking and how many you're burning every day. Eat a well balanced diet you can stick with and be consistent on.

Man... do not repeat this to hardcore drug addicts(or former)..... sugar is very addcitive,,,,, but statments like this are part of a marketing campaign for whatever reason...... saying quiting sugar is like quiting meth, heroin, cocaine, crack, opiates, etc.... is insutling breh.... to people who have actually had hardcore drug addictions....

AT FIRST, THERE WAS NO PURPOSE OTHER THAN SUPPORT FOR MY FRIEND. NOW, IM TRYING TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THIS AND TURN SOME THINGS AROUND FOR MYSELF. GETTING FIT IS MY GOAL NOW. I'M NOT OVERLY WORRIED ABOUT APPEARANCE. I JUST WANT MY FUNCTIONAL STRENGTH/ ENDURANCE BACK.
