Figured I might as well make a thread on it so it can be kept out of the other one.

But state your position: Should Pelosi begin impeachment proceedings against Trump? Yes or no?

Arguments for:

• Letting Trump get away with everything sets a terrible precedent
• It's what the Dem base wants and arguably why they won the house
• It's a waste of time for the Dem House to draft legislation anyway with Trump in charge

Arguments against:

• It's DOA in the Senate so it'll be seen as a waste of time
• It might mobilize Trump's base and help him get re-elected
• The effort would better be spent on mobilizing voters for 2020

hmm...

this is a very difficult question for me...... i don't know how i feel... impeaching clinton is how the reps got bush in office... but could that work in reverse...?

i fear that the crazies might come out the woodwork if they feel their orange messiah may get kicked out of office.... is pence going to be able to contain the trump crazies --- or better question, would he even want to..?

let me put it this way, if pelosi goes to impeach she better not miss.... she better wound him politically to the point where there is no chance of his reelection... if she doesn't have the heart and the ammo, let that boy live and focus on defeating him at the ballot box in 2020....

as much as i want to see them go for it; i see why nancy, or as i call her nancy, isn't going for it. why the fukk go for something that will die in the senate, one HUNDRED percent?

i think i'll say..i dont want to see them go for impeachment with the information i have so far. unless they have something worse on him, dont embarrass yourself. what i want is for them to get his tax returns and damage him in the court of public opinion
