Yes, they should go for it.
It's their job to hold him accountable and he ticks a lot of impeachment boxes.
Someone needs to put the country above their party and their personal 2020 goals.

It's sad that our gov't has gotten to the point that a criminal can get into the office and then use his party to shield himself from any repercussions. Especially when the Democrats are willing to sit back and let it happen.

How can you impeach based on people refusing to honor subpoenas based on an investigation conceived illegaly?

Brennen, Comey, Clapper, Baker, Lynch, Clinton etc. are in farrr more trouble than Trump. If the dems attempt to impeach him, they could NEVER do that without addressing this issue in one way or another.

Agree with this, though Amash laid out great points about why impeachment was necessary in Twitter....and no one that is against impeachment has been able to refute the points he’s made.

Also, impeachment proceedings can be dragged out. A big part of why Nixon's presidency ended and his approval ratings declined was because of the impeachment proceedings against him.

They have a duty to impeach based on the actions of Trump. Whether he is ultimately found guilty is irrelevant. Trumps base ain't going nowhere but the dem base needs to be motivated to come out for them to win the election.

Dems have already lost imo cause the Republicans are controlling the narrative and the messaging. Trump says he is exonerated and innocent.. dem inaction proves his point. They had a chance to reclaim the narrative by responding with a sense of urgency. All the delaying and political calculations come across as weakness. A Republican showed more spine when he didnt mince words on Twitter regarding impeaching trump... and that's why they will lose. They are taking cues from Republicans instead of leading and controlling the narrative
