Did doctors ever do STD panels as part of routine/ annual physicals though? I've had many physicals both for general health and job clearance and I've never had a random STD screening.

IME docs will definitely check for general STDs WHEN ASKED but you have to fight them tooth and nail to test for the shyt they don't consider "serious" (like herpes either HSV-1 & HSV-2 for example).

Fair enough. Its something that impact personal and public health. I'm not experience it just seemed like doctors don't take it seriously. Personally I don't get it but it may be my perception.
