Unless you are a lawyer you shouldn't pretend to understand the ins and outs of this contract or the law.

The fact stands that you are allowed to disclose the fact that you are getting paid. Plenty of people who were paid by this promotion let it be known to their viewers that they were being paid. If some people hid this info and/or lied to their viewers then that is between them and their viewers.

I bet at the time you thought that knowledge was useless until you saw this thread pop up didn't ya? I'm not repeating anything, I just read the contract, which it seems like you didn't (but why would you have to you already know people in this industry) and came to the same conclusion that a 13 year old would have. Make this vid promoting xbox, don't say i'm being paid for it, get paid for it.
