If u live in a densely populated part of the city that's walkable, u don't need a car, so this point is moot. Plus every major city has a robust charging Network at this point. U can charge like 200 miles in like 15 minutes on a supercharger. It's like $8.
I live in Texas so Telsa is big but other vehicles are more popular. When I went to the Bay, Tesla's were massively popular

I’ve went on an 3600 mile road trip (round trip) this summer. It’s doable. Didn’t go across a desert, but that’s doable as well. A gas powered car will unquestionably be quicker; significantly quicker the longer mileage. But it was an enjoyable trip with no hiccups. The driver convenience features greatly reduce fatigue.
If my main concern is minimizing trip length, I’m flying.

I already told you, torque by itself isn't fun for me. For you pressing a pedal it is, for me it's not.I said manual cars are fun and that's what I want. They're better than automatics and definitely better electric cars.
Funny, because battery manufacturing and disposal is arguably worse for the environment than fossil fuel is. I got a friend who showed me a hydrogen powered car that his company is working on a couple months ago. He said it should be in production within the next couple years. Sounded pretty interesting and the design was beautiful.

Porsche is designing efuel that gives off zero emissions.
Hopefully something is done so we can keep ICE cars around. I'm fine with being slower than all the electric cars
