alc usually annoys me on the mic ... but the way i look at it now atleast he makes me laugh in his bars,,, better than crying listening to 90% of rappers nowdays !!!!

how could you possibly think that Boldy James' project was more lyrical than this? mainly more lyrical than Evidence? Boldy is mad boring and is below average at best. I love the project but lyrically he brings nothing to the table at all

as for this album, shyt is straight. solid beats the whole way, just enough features to keep it fresh. EV once again continues to improve as a rapper. ALC like other dude said, is just funny now. he legit had me laughing with a few bars

I agree 100%. I still think like Ev more than Boldy though. I think it's pretty crazy how many styles he's gone through since the Dilated days. he had the slow flow stuff, then the more mid-tempo flow on Cats & Dogs, and now he's kind of expanded on that with a lot of the Roc Marci type stream of consciousness flow with a lot of interesting patterns and random little connect the dot type rhymes. He's pretty versatile now.
I like it better than the Gangrene stuff, but I like a little more of the straight line ALC production. 100% Al's raps are better here than on any of the gangrene projects. If you like the weirdo beats that come up here and there on gangrene then Banging Sound is one of the joints on here that you'll dig.

I like that cover too. I think they had to use the boring cover because a velvet Vinyl/CD case wouldn't have been possible with a complicated design. I think the alternate cover is the poster that they signed. Did you make this right here? It's dope.
