Klay had it cooking tonight, Steph kinda coasted because of it and by the 4Q the team was severely depleted and he was defended by a box one zone defense. That final shot was a good look he just missed. Overall it wasn’t a bad Finals at all.

I have some words about Steph Curry.
The narrative is going to be that he's a fraud and isn't clutch.
The truth is, Steph is the most unique & most IMPACTFUL offensive talent in the history of the game. There's no other player who's guarded the way he is, trapped, picked up at half court & put in a box & 1 and can create open looks for others the way Steph Curry is. Just his sheer presence on the court gives you a top 5 offense, which is not something anyone other than Lebron James or James Harden can claim. If you look at the offensive ratings for the Warriors over the past 6 seasons, the Warriors have historically struggled to score without Curry on the floor. That's with Kevin Durant and without Kevin Durant. BUT, and this is a big BUT, Curry simply lacks the physicality of many other great players (Jordan, Kobe, Kawhi, Durant) which allows you to consistently get your shot off against tough physical defenses. If you need 1 basket, Curry may not be THAT guy.....however, he's has consistently shown that his presence gives your team an elite offense, while many other ISO players, that's not necessarily true for.

i dont want to do any revisionist history - steph has changed the game and he has some good playoff performances, but he is just a great shooter. if you demand too much of any other dimension of play, it hurts his shooting. he is not to be compared to more complete PGs. he is a really great specialist who gets paid like a more complete super star.
