I'm not sure anyone has warped a defense like Curry. Prime Shaq and MJ bent defenses, but not like this. Not old enough to have watched Wilt or Kareem.

This guy bends the defense 35 feet out and when he gets hot, opposing teams willingly leave other teammates wide open, even under the basket.

His hot streaks are like Kobe's. Obviously Steph's the GOAT shooter, but Kobe would get hot hitting ridiculously difficult shots and it would fukk everything up. They're spirit breaking shots. Steph hits so many of those.

It’s Curry and Shaq at the top of that list. Nobody else really compares. Shaq demanded a double at all times the first 14 seasons he played. He was averaging 23 a night on 60% shooting in year 13 where he turned 33. He manhandled the defensive player of the year so thoroughly in the finals in 2001 that the league decided allowing the zone defense was the only way to guard him and teams were still so scared of him in the paint that by the time they faced Dallas in the finals in 2006 when Wade was clearly the team’s best player, they still decided basically to double him at all times regardless of whether he had the ball or not.

Now Curry gets the inverse where as long as he’s not in the paint, he demands a double. In game 1 last season in the finals, JR smith left the rim uncovered to guard him at the arc just off instinct since teams are that worried about getting burned from deep. He regularly hits those heat check shots that even Kobe would take only after making 3-4 tough ones. Every time I watch them play he takes 3-4 shots every game where I make the :dahell: when he takes it, but he makes them so regularly that it justifies his shot selection :damn:

Total facts. But I think in all honesty, he hasn’t done anything super special in the playoffs and I’m not a hater. He’s my favourite player by far but his best ever series was against the Cavs in the Finals. He’s great in the offs but really lacks the signature beast mode games of a Kobe or MJ or Bron or even Shaq.
He’s got plenty of great games in the playoffs and finals, but yeah I can’t recall any one particular game that stands out. Mike has the flu game, the 60+ in Boston, and the game where he switched hands in mid air. Wade has his averaging nearly 40+ the last 4 games against the Mavericks. Shaq has basically the entire 2000 and 2001 finals. Kobe has the 2010 western finals. LeBron has the 48 special, the 45/15/5 in Boston, and both his finals game 7’s. Maybe his game 5 in 2015 against Cleveland?

Haven't read 1 post in the thread so im sure it's already been said and either debunked or validated, but im inclined to say prime shaq>

I have no stats or facts to back that up either. Just my opinion :yeshrug:

I mean, he's not lying. He broke the Bulls record for most wins....

If somehow, Chef Curry gets 6 rings, he'll definitely be considered the GOAT, surpassing Jordan, not only for dem Rangz, but for his ability to shoot the ball like no other player on Earth.

87-13 w/the ring>>>>>>>73 wins while choking away the finals

surpassing Jordan?:mjlol: People debate if he's even the best player on his team:mjlol:

We forgetting he's already lost a finals and came up small while blowing a 3-1 lead and watching Kyrie take his soul in game 7?:mjlol:

Where's Curry's defense?:mjlol:

His shoes alone will prevent him from ever reaching MJ:mjlol:

The thing with Steph is that he's basically a scoring threat as soon as he crosses half court. Dude hits 30 footers as easily as he hits 24 footers. Never seen anything like it.

His ineffectiveness in the post season is exaggerated, too. He struggled in the first 2.5 games of the 15 finals but ur killed Cleveland in games 4-6. The Iggy finals MVP was media hype.

2016 is a blemish but he was clearly more hurt than he let on. And he was great last year's finals even though KD was obviously better.

Knock him for his defense, but his play making and scoring ability gives him easy top 10 potential. Where talking about a 30 PPG 50/40/90 guy here.

MJ lost that series against the Celtics he dropped 63 on, doesn't mean shyt.

lol that was a scrub bulls team compared to the celtics, widely considered one of the best teams of the decade. MJ missed basically all of the regular season with an injury on top of that.

There's so many MJ moments especially in the finals that even a slight blemish knocks you down. Curry was small when he lost to the cavs up 3-1 with 2 home games. Again it's debated if curry is even the best player on his own team, let alone bringing in MJ lol.

Bring up MJ when you already choked a finals and don't even have 1 3peat yet while MJ has 2 brehs:mjlol:

Every player in the league know they ain’t got that green light to take them crazy ass shots without getting the wtf you doin face except Curry :mjlol:

Steve Kerr realized that shyt when Curry took that wild ass shot dribbling through 3 defenders to come back on a turnover without even looking and took that 3... Kerr like ayo wtf you doin :Ayooooo:

Then Curry hit that shyt and Kerr was like aww fukk it let him shot whatever the hell he wants :Hahahahafoh:
