No, when Gervin played with him.

I think Gervin was actually referring to the 1985 All-Star Game, when he held MJ to 5 points on 1-8 shooting while lighting him up for 23 points on 10-12 shooting.

Gervin implied that MJ began working on the problem when they played together the next season and fixed it.

Healthy cavs beat the warriors in 6 in 2015
Warriors never get that battery in their back and they dont get that 73 in 2016. Most likely thunder beat the cavs in the finals that year and durant stays

JR shot 31%, Delly shot 28%, shumpert shot 26%, and James Jones shot 32%. They had no chance whatsoever. If love is healthy, he likely no shows on offense like he did in 2016-18 in the finals, and gets targeted on defense the same way too. He would’ve made playing offense considerably easier for the warriors and probably completely offset any offensive benefit that Irving would’ve provided.

Stylistically, the '15 Finals would've played out differently if Love/Irving were healthy, and while it would've given the Cavs a greater chance of winning, Cleveland managed to capatilize early on in the series through their defensive efforts - efforts that wouldn't have been as pronounced if both Irving/Love were playing (plus, the officiating did allow the Cavs to get away with more physical contact than usual) - the Warriors role players simply didn't play up to standard on the offensive end, but the moment they did start making those open shots, the series was essentially over.

But I guess that was a running theme for those Warriors squads, role players not performing when they needed to; Barnes' 5-32 over the last three games of the '16 Finals pretty much put everything into motion.

Not when he had that impact before said top 3 talent got there.

Man was an all star three times before KD joined him

He may have made the same impact without KD, but well never rkmow

Everything gets an asterisk after KD

Lol @ bringing up an all star game to show all gervin had to do to stop Jordan was to force him to go left

So when jordan lit gervin up for 45 in the 9th game of his career (1st 40 point game of his career) at 21 and then for another 38 after the all star game that same season, where was this strategy?

Gervin wasn't stopping a goddamn thing

Must have been during pick up games in the offseason bro :mjlol:, he zaid MJ was unable to beast prior to getting his left straight, MJ averaged 28ppg that season, there is no way Iceman was talking about during the season.
He avgd 30 for his career

Learning how to "go left" got him those extra 2 points:mjlol:

He gets the same treatment from defenses he did before KD. He’s still the focal point of the warriors offense and also the top priority of opposing defenses.

Im from Toronto and I'm an old school guy

I will never fully reject Curry, I loved his dad before he even joined my Raps. I loved that early to mid 90s Hornets team.

Curry went to school here in Toronto. I loved him when he was in college, loved him when he got drafted and how he revolutionized the game

I'm a west coast head too so I always got a soft spot in my heart for Cali teams and I will always salute the Bay

I'm no LeBron Stan, no Kobe Stan, shyt I ain't even a MJ Stan

I'm just a dude who was so thoroughly disappointed by the KD move

It ruined everything bruh, I'll never change my mind on this

You have your opinion :manny: but Bill Russell played with more hall of famers than anyone yet history doesn't look at him different.
