demarre was doing nothing before he got hurt,JJ can do the same things defensively...
DeMarre has been hurt most of the season (even in some of the games he played), in the games where he's actually been able to play at near full health - he was a difference maker.

Nah in the early season games he definitely was NOT,i have watched every game son lets NOT do this :mjlol:
His shot was off and his perimeter D was not consistent...He needs to get to a level much higher than what he showed defensively to have a real impact...

I've been following y'all all throughout this season. Don't speak to me as if I'm some casual fan. He was shutting down wing players at the start of the season (notably PG and Crowder - as well helping out on small ball 4s), where he had y'all looking like a top 5 defense. He was probably the most instrumental player in that OKC win down the stretch, when he locked up Durant in the clutch and the Thunder didn't make a FG in the last five minutes. Problem is he hasn't really been healthy since that first initial stretch.

His shot has been inconsistent, but he most certainly was a difference maker before he got hurt - mainly through his defense and general activity off the ball.

Whole team played good D down the stretch of the game...OKC took bad shots and DeAllstar took over....That win wasnt on DMC by any stretch :russ:

Absolutely they did. I'm not suggesting they didn't, just that DeMarre was probably the most instrumental on the defensive end during that deciding stretch.
