wow, you clearly havent watched a lot of playoff games. It was very impressive though
It's not even in his own Top 10. He was being guarded by CJ McCollum & Lillard arguably the worst defenders in their respective positions.![]()
OK brehI wonder what facial expression he had when Butler picked off DangerRuss in SB49. I'm sure he went in on Carroll and Bevell. And Seahawks
LeBron JamesSo glad I watched this game. Had me standing up pacing the room clapping in appreciation. This is a historic run dude has been on. Made even better by the fact that the Warriors were getting killed whenever he went to the bench. I can recall ever really seeing any teams score that much in overtime much less just one player.
If you talking against the Pistons that was 18 over the course of two overtimes. All-time great performance no doubt but consider Steph damn near matched him in one OT.LeBron James
He scored the last 20 or something points in one of those Pistons games. It was absurd. If you talking against the Pistons that was 18 over the course of two overtimes. All-time great performance no doubt but consider Steph damn near matched him in one OT.

i'm half stanning the chef. because i'm from a different era of hoop. where the best went head to head vs the best. meaning the best offensive guy had to breakdown the best defensive guy multiple times in order to score in the playoffs, in the 4th qtr, and especially in a tight game in OT. what you saw last night was mr mvp doing work. but what you also saw is why old heads keep telling youngins the game is just different now in a less mano y mano way. most of steph's shots in that ot were after he got a screen and got setup. sure he did some chef dribbling to get even more space. but it all started with a screen. which puts the team in scramble mode. in addition, most of the defense was provided by the chef's teammates. again they gave nash 2 mvps. which will always be ridiculous. and i was a nash fan. but it shows you the NBA/critics,e tc are all about offense. if you are a guard and provide a ton of offense(especially if you're the pg so you get 6+ assist per. you can run off multiple mvps if you're team is the best team in the nba. that means you dont have to really play much defense. think about that for a moment. how unfair is that to the past greats that had to play both sides of the ball to get their trophies? think about all the other dudes who had to break down the best defenders without a ton of screens. its just different. it will always sound like we're hating on the chef when we describe the reality of how pro hoop has changed. but with that said. Chef is the greatest of the new era hands down, no discussion, not even an argument. there's nothing to discuss when it comes to that. if someone says who you got for the new era and someone says somebody other then the Chef. stop the conversation because they are an idiot or they just dont watch basketball. my man lillard. dang... how does that feel when you go off and STILL get overshadowed by the great one. lillard was just put in the tmac vs kobe category. he's really good But... he aint better than....If you're not stanning this nikka, you're not living right.![]()
