Malcolm x was like 75% black, and I don't consider people of his complexion "litebrites".
oh really breh?

please break down Malcom's genealogy for the rest of us brehs and let us know how you came to that 75%

Malcom was by any standard in black history a "litebrite", he could definitely pass that paper bag test. and he had red hair.

I could list a lot more black revolutionaries that were on the lighter side of the spectrum, I guess they're not black either tho huh?

...and? Lebron's team was constructed around his strengths, when healthy, but they weren't healthy in the Finals which led to Lebron having to go into super hero-ball mode for 4 quarters.

Put Lebron on those Warriors and that team doesn't lose a damn thing. Even though Curry and Lebron have much different scoring styles, Lebron is versatile enough where he can pretty much do anything the Warriors need while becoming a one man wrecking crew like Curry. Keep Klay for guarding those quick PGs and what really changes if it's Lebron or Klay bringing up the court?

Again, switch the two players. What team becomes the overwhelming favorites to sweep?

Warriors wouldn't have been the number 1 offensive team in the league, for 1

and they wouldn't have been the number 1 defensive team in the league either.

lol @ you conveniently making Klay and Lebron pgs for a season

Honestly, I don't care. If X isn't at least 75%, he can kick rocks too. :yeshrug:

I'm just saying.. I shouldn't have to wonder if a "black" man is mixed or not. :yeshrug:

Best shooter I've ever seen tho. :ehh:

fam, you seen his parents.
the vast majority of black people in this country got DNA that is not exclusively African

you're just splitting hairs at this point for no reason other than the fact you don't like the fact that he's light skinned.
coo

none of this has to actually do with his actual game.

And Paul Pierce managed to beat him out at the three point
three point contest :wow:
I bet pierce is looking at that trophy a little differently now even tho curry and was only a rookie.

When did Westbrook become an elite defender exactly? It's like people expect him to be a great defender because of his high athleticism, energy and passion when he's never been anything more than average in his career. :heh:

I think their D is pretty even although PG defense is the least important out of all other positions considering a simple screen will take even prime MJ/Pippen out of the equation. Defending PG's is a collective effort.

Lebron James led a very tumultuous first season with the Cavs to the third best offense in the league. I highly doubt the loss of offensive production from Curry to Lebron is gonna really hurt the Warriors overall offense when Lebron is also a one man wrecking ball that takes a concerned team effort to stop.

And you think CURRY is the reason the Warriors had the number one defender? Breh...I love Curry and I think he's actually very underrated defensively but the Warriors ain't missing a beat on defense without Curry.

And yeah, Lebron is effectively the PG for most teams he's on aka point forward. You think Chalmers was running that Heat team? You can plug anyone of Golden State's many playmaking ball handler (Iggy, Livingston, Barbosa, etc).

All Lebron need is a decent defender to guard smaller PGs (Plenty of those) and a guy who he can trust to bring the ball up the court while making the occasional play (Plenty of that)

if if was a spliff we'd all be high

again, apples and oranges. Curry and Bron have different skillsets and perform different functions for their teams.

I never said Curry was the reason the Dubs had the number 1 defense, that being said, as much as you try to indict Curry's defense it's not as if Lebron has been shutting motherfukkers down lately either.

Lebron doesn't create the spacing problems that Curry does, nor does he demand the same amount of attention.

you swap Curry out, the Dubs only have one consistent legit deep threat and teams pack it in against Bron-led teams like they always do.

Russell Westbrook ain't better than no damn Steph Curry :scust:

stop the foolishness :raystop:

Steph has a level of "unconsciousness" that Russ can't get to.

But Russ'll make up for it by taking more shots & drawing more fouls/freethrows.

As far as efficiency/IQ, Steph>>>>Russ.

I think Russ is more athletically gifted(obviously), but Steph is more skilled
