I asked a simple question. How would you hand check Steph Curry? In College one coach had 3 guys defend him every time he touched the ball and admitted he didn't care if he won or lost as long as he slowed him down but you think a simple hand check would suffice?
I think many of the rule changes in basketball over the years has made it infinitely more difficult for players to play tough defense.
I think many of the rule changes in basketball over the years has made players fearful of playing tough defense in order not to be ejected or fouled out from the game.

But I'm on a forum where something like 90% of its members believe basketball only existed after 2004.

Maybe you're right.
Curry is the most unguardable player of all time.
Move over, Michael, Kareem, Magic and Wilt.

There's a new sheriff in town.

Don't placate bruh. I'm asking simple basketball questions. What 90's rule could stop Steph today? What guard from the 90's could shut him down? I think he would even give GP the blues.

People in here really arguing if a black man with 2 black parents is really black after he just scored 118 points in 3 games because he's light skinned? :pachaha: Gotta be some salty Lebron fans. Grow up.

Funny thing about it, this whole mixed thing isn't even physical, it's mental.

Black is your soul/state of mind(but you do gotta have some black blood to really activate it)

If a lightskinned person, even if they were half white, were never raised with any "caucasion influence"----just knew nothing but black people/black culture---what makes him any different than a dark skinned dude raised under similar circumstances?

Racist whites will still see him as a "n i g g e r"....and if a race war popped off, they'll be coming for that "lightskinned" dude just as much.

It's the ultimate divide & conquer strategy. It's crazy to be prejudice against mixed race people when we're all some variation of a mixed race person.

I can't just look at lightskinned person and go "fukk what you talking about:stopitslime:" just because of their skin tone.

I'd have to learn more about that person and see where their mind is at.

Steph is a black man

You know what the changes are breh.
Let's not act like you're just asking me to cite all the examples only for you to scoff in the face of them.

Yes, he is unguardable. Your only chance is him having a bad shooting night.

Where is his finals MVP then?

Son didn't get ONE VOTE....

The Australian homie put a stop to all that:

To be 6'10 with an albatross wingspan is definitely physically gifted on the surface. And to be so agile and coordinated at that size jumps out at you as well.
Most definitely! But coming out of college I didn't think he'd be what he is now. 8 just thought he was waaay to skinny to be effective.

What does Westbrook do better than Steph? Absolutely nothing.:martin: Is he a better offensive player? A better defensive player? More clutch? Did he lead his team to a title? What justification would a GM have to choose Westbrook over Curry.:patrice:

He averaged 26 ppg in the finals.

:mjlol:

Was it a MVP performance though?

Not a "get really hot a couple 4th quarters to raise my average" performance?

If Steph is UNGUARDABLE where is his finals MVP?

How does the "Best player in the world" let a nikka on the OTHER TEAM get more votes than him?:patrice:

:mindblown: RUSSY IS LIGHT YEARS BETTER DEFENSIVELY THAN STEPH!!!

I can't believe you just said that.:what:

I also think he's much more clutch, But of course that is not as tangible.

26 ppg not good enough right? unless a room full of a few people vote for you?
