Stop it breh, Curry won the MVP but wasn't the best player in the A. Bron and AD were better than him. Curry's a great player and all, but honestly that GSW team compliments him very well. You got Iggy to help playmake; and Bogut;Klay, Dray, and Iggy to cover him on defense. If you put him on say the 76ers, I don't know if he bring them to 40 wins, AD can.

Bron was on a team with 4 all stars, AD put up empty stats........lets be real, Curry is unguardable while LeBron and AD have many flaws in there game. thats why LeBron choked in every 4th Q in the finals last year

:dahell:
Love and Irving didn't do shyt, til they teamed up with Bron. AD was one the of the best rim protectors and had an elite PER. Sure AD can improve his post game and jumper, but he locks up the paint and get 20/10 effiecntly. Stop talking basketball please

Get locked down by Deshawn Stevenson and Boris Diaw in the finals brehs
*COUGH* it was actually JJ Barea(even worse) in association with Deshawn Stevenson, and then Boris Diaw. Either way, your point is valid. I'll throw Wade in there also, as an NBA great who got locked down in the finals. Steph losing Finals MVP last year by getting defended well by Delavadova can be excused, for the simple fact that we've seen LBJ and Wade and Kobe get locked down in the finals at certain points.

:umad: Knicks done fukked up

He is better than Russ. I'll still give Durant and bron their due, but he's on their level now.

All of that shyt was taught by his father who made a long ass career in the NBA by being one of the best shooters to make up for his lack of athleticism.

He knew his son didn't have an athletic gift like him, and made Steph maximize his other talents which will serve him well into his later career. Athletes break down over time. But the quick release, accuracy and ability to get a clean shot off at will is what separates him from everybody.

Steph making sure ad know that this will never be his league and he will never be better than him as most critics are making it seem like Davis got next.

Responding to the bolded...obviously Steph has worked his ass off on his game and no doubt he was taught how to shoot by his pops, but he still has natural physical abilities that not a lot of people would be able to pull off if they worked like hell on their game. Dell taught all the same shyt to Seth that he did with Steph, now look at the end result. Steph's natural abilities combined with his skillset is what separates him.

Not sure. Just don't think its that. Maybe 3pt FG %? "Most made 3s" doesn't take into consideration the type of teams, systems, pportunities for shots, playing style etc.

Example. Kerr "only" has 147. But how many fewer minutes did he play In total than Steph in those 254 games? Things like that matter. Volume has a lot to do with opportunity.

That nikka legit made more 3's in the games that he's played than anyone else, while shooting at percentages that rivals some guards' regular FG% (shot over 45% from 3 multiple seasons), that graphic was like 2 seasons ago. If you look at Kerr's prime years, Steph was able to make over double the amount of 3 pointers as him over a similar span while shooting a comparable percentage, all while being a better all around player than him by far

Steph has volume and efficiency, you can't use volume as a way to knock someone down a peg.

Still think hardo should have won mvp last year....

:what:

Not talking about you in particular, but some people can't stand to see some upper-middle class yellow nikka dominate the league like this. That's the only reason why people will criticize him for his wins and compare inferior players like Harden to him. Also, Westbrook has no rings as is not better than Curry.

The other thing about Curry that should be noted is that he is pretty effortless in his approach to the game. He's out there making things look easy without any particular superior athleticism.

^read that.

there's way too much bullshyt out there about westbrook being "dumb" and not making the right plays. the guy had the second best FG% off his assists last season, one percentage point behind curry, and that was with durant barely playing all year. the guy makes everyone around him better while drawing in almost every defender's attention, don't preach bullshyt about not being able to win a championship with westbrook breh.

you also don't have to hide westbrook on defense.
Westbrook is underappreciated at times. Last year is when Russ finally got his due. Solid defender, great playmaker, high IQ, solid shooter, great scorer. His only flaw is his iffy efficiency from time to time, and some of that has to do with shot selection.
