*COUGH* it was actually JJ Barea(even worse) in association with Deshawn Stevenson, and then Boris Diaw. Either way, your point is valid. I'll throw Wade in there also, as an NBA great who got locked down in the finals. Steph losing Finals MVP last year by getting defended well by Delavadova can be excused, for the simple fact that we've seen LBJ and Wade and Kobe get locked down in the finals at certain points.

:obama:

Actually it was JJ, Stevenson, kidd and Marion. The Mavs guarded him with a platoon of players. Lebron could not post up JJ because dude would flop as soon as he would back him down (he has also been one of the best floppers in the league and is one of the reasons it is so hard for most NBA players to post him up).

Let us also not forget that Tyson was playing world class zone defense covering up the paint from any penetration by Lebron. So Mavs defenders deserve credit just like Tyson prince and the pistons defense on Kobe that year in the finals.

The only thing I don't like about Steph is his complexion.. Other than that, he's the best shooter and PG I've ever seen.

Crazy how fukking Steve Trash one two mvps.. Overrated as fukk compared to Curry.
:what:
You guys got some issues and are no different from dark skin girls hating on light skin girls for no fukkking reason other than just being insecure.

Lebron was playing with a squad that consisted mostly of bench players on lottery bound squads before they got to the Cavs.

Lebron lost the two best offensive players on his squad (And they're both top tier offensive players as well) and replaced them with a bunch of hustle players / energy guys to go against the best goddamn defense in the NBA.

That game is much different if Draymond Green is being forced to guard guys like Kevin Love over guys like Tristan Thompson.

It's different if instead of James Jones playing PF off the bench when Tristan is playing center, it's Kevin Love. Or if Kyrie Irving is going at Curry, instead of Delladova, when Lebron is creating open looks for his teammates

Let's be real, nikka. Lebron didn't choke, he ran out of gas while single handily trying to will his team to victory against the number one defense in the league. Switch Curry onto the Cavs and Lebron to the Warriors. Does Curry will those Cavs to a championship?

Curry
Smith
Shumpert
Thompson
Mozgov

Vs.

Lebron
Klay
Iggy/Barnes
Green
Bogut

And then compare the bench players (James Jones, Mike Miller, Kendrick Perkins, Shawn Marion).

What's the result?

this is as close you can get to a logical fallacy in sports

the teams are constructed differently and geared towards Curry and Bron's strengths and weaknesses respectively.Plus they have different styles of play
this random substituting one for the other with no context to suit your narrative is lame and disengenous

How am I hating on dude when I just said let's appreciate his greatness?

And there's no issues here, I know what real black people look like. If I have to guess whether you're mixed or not, then you ain't black imo.

Breh i didnt hit u with disrespect over the internet so please don't do it to me. I've seen all these plays already. It's athletic stuff but it isn't Westbrook d.rose before the injuries young wade or anything like that. I think Kobe is on the next tier under those. Which means he isn't a freak and isn't a once in a generation athlete.

If I did say he was average that's not what I meant to say. I just think he isn't as naturally gifted or as athletic as the other greats.

Kobe is pretty much elite in every athletic sense (Strength, balance, explosiveness, agility, top speed, acceleration, footwork, leaping ability, body control, ) with GOAT-tier footwork and polish.

And Kobe's probably around the same tier of athletic ability as Wade. Wade might look more explosive because Wade has one of the best change of paces (EVER), really long wingspan, and his core is freaking huge (If you ever seen Wade in person, his core and shoulders are very wide for his size) so he has better balance and stability which is why Wade is a better finisher / slasher but pure specs? I wouldn't be surprised if Frobe was better across the board.

And Wade is my favorite player.

...and? Lebron's team was constructed around his strengths, when healthy, but they weren't healthy in the Finals which led to Lebron having to go into super hero-ball mode for 4 quarters.

Put Lebron on those Warriors and that team doesn't lose a damn thing. Even though Curry and Lebron have much different scoring styles, Lebron is versatile enough where he can pretty much do anything the Warriors need while becoming a one man wrecking crew like Curry. Keep Klay for guarding those quick PGs and what really changes if it's Lebron or Klay bringing up the court?

Again, switch the two players. What team becomes the overwhelming favorites to sweep?
