We got two point guards playing basketball at a historic level right now and it's special to watch. Steph may be better, but you can still recognize what WB is doing and give him due respect as the dominant force that he is.

He's averaging a trip dub in his last 11 games btw: 20.8ppg/10.1rpg/11.8apg :youngsabo:

Been said this at the beginning of the season. Russell Westbrook is putting up these numbers with Durant on his team. And he's at the point where he's trying to get others involved. Westbrook is the answer to what if iverson was taller. You basically get Westbrook :wow:
Nah Iverson isn't close to his rebounding and passing skills. Maybe if we put Iverson/Kidd/Bron and rolled them into one.

51 points on 19/28 shooting with 11 threes, 7 boards, 2 assists(lol), 3 steals and 7 turnovers(lol again) is amazing.

It is NOT better than 24 points on 10/18 shooting with 19 boards, 14 assists, 2 steals, and ONLY 2 turnovers. shyt is insane. Both stat lines are insane, but Westbrook did everything.

Considering the fact he had quite a few hockey assists (as he does every game), it's not really laughable. What Westbrook is doing is historically great, but he has the opportunity to get a high # of assists because the ball works in and out directly from him - Curry's assist numbers don't begin to illustrate how many shots he creates for his team - because of how the ball swings around. Let's not forget that Curry put up 24 ppg and 8.5 assists a game in Jackson's ISO-dominant/minimal ball-movement offense a few years ago.

lol. Being a 6'3" guard with elite athleticism that stuffs the stat sheet in ways PGs absolutely should NOT is a lot more transcendent than being a really good shooter. Steph Curry is an incredible scorer, the best shooter we've ever seen, but no other parts of his game are particularly transcendent. While Westbrook can literally do everything. Basketball fans too biased towards offense and having a pretty game.

In a worst case scenario you say they're both transcendent in their own rights, but I give the nod to WB because he's doing more.
I have to applaud your shrewd hatred when it comes to Curry - "in a worse case scenario". :heh:
