That argument died after the Bulls & Hornets combined to miss 75 3s in one game. :mjlol:
You stupid motherfukkers love to pretend there was never any poorly played game in the histroy of the league until after whatever era you grew up on :mjlol:

You'll ignore some random game between lottery teams in 1995 where they shot 35% and missed a billion long 2's that was probably never seen outside of their home markets, but a bad game between two bad teams now is indicative of the whole era.

That's why these discussions are so dishonest. Y'all talk about the past as if every team were the Lakers, Celtics and Bulls.

No, Because you can see so many players jacking up shots thinking they're Steph Curry.
Again, you can make this dumbass argument about every era

"Look at all these guys taking fadeaways thinking they're MJ"

Sports league has both good teams and bad teams, more news at 11 :skip:

They have but not in those words. They admit todays players are bigger stronger faster quicker than them. But they feel today's players are mentally weaker than them
Today’s players are not bigger though. My issue with the current vibe ball era is the lack of fundamentals and competitiveness.

There were bad games back then often but the competitiveness was always on point. These current players are just out here doing whatever on the court especially if they not in a winning situation.

On December 20, 2000 in a game between the Heat & Hornets the two teams combined for 90 missed FGA, 23 missed FTA, 40 turnovers and 50 fouls in a game that ended with a final score of 56-65.

And mind you those were two teams that made the playoffs that year :mjlol:

The point? Anyone can cherry pick a bad game from any era, the tribalism is bizarre. It’s a lot of great basketball being played today just like there were still great hoops to find back then

Lazy low IQ players didn’t start spawning in 2022 either

Like, how do these guys think bad teams become bad teams lmao, it's not because they do things right :russ: It's never been that way, they just want to find any dumb excuse to complain about today.

Players now have more stylistic freedom. Rules were different back then, 2 steps MEANT 2 steps, Euro steps were called travel, couldn’t palm the ball while dribbling it was called carry, big men weren’t allowed to play out of the paint (even though some could), wasn’t allowed to shoot 3 pointers at a high rate no matter how great of a shooter you were.

Not more skilled, they have more freedom.

Yo @Gil Scott-Heroin this dude found an even uglier game than the one from 1999 you pulled a few months ago to highlight this same point :mjlol: :hhh: :trash:

Has a star from the 60s, 70s or 80s ever retroactively admitted that their own era was trash, less skilled, and/or would be food if they had to play in any decade that proceeded (or preceded) their own?

Everyone thinks their era is the prime era right?
George Gervin did
