lebron birthed the stacked deck approach. not one, not two, not three, not four, not five :pachaha:
I agree he birthed a player setting up his own situation to solely help himself and create the best team around him. White GMs were doing it for years so it was ok :martin:. I think Bron thought he made Voltron in Miami and that's why he said not one not two.....but just cause he says it don't make it concrete...this "stacked team" in Miami had so many holes it could of went 1-3 in the finals. But because Bron said not one not two people will forever says " look it was a super team cause Bron said so" ?????? GTFOH

I realize you're laughing sarcastically but there's so much wrong with this.

The fact that you're laughing at this totally speaks to the manner in which LeBron marginalizes the talents of his teammates. Pre Cleveland Kevin Love was looked at as arguably a top 5 player, interesting how playing with LeBron has changed people's perceptions of how good he is, as it did with Bosh.

Yes, trading Wiggins (an unproven lottery pick at the time) for Kevin Love to play along Kyrie Irving and LeBron James is stacking the deck.

I'd hate to see LeBron end up on a team with Draymond Green for instance, where he wouldn't be allowed to use his talents as a playmaker and he'd only be judged by how well he hits open 3s.
Clowns in here want to write that white boy off but his production in Minnesota was very eye catching and thats why they wanted him...
Voted as a starter for the Western Conference in the 2014 NBA All-Star Game, Love appeared in 77 games (all starts) for Minnesota last season and averaged a career-high 26.1 points on .457 shooting, including .376 from beyond the arc and .821 from the foul line, 12.5 rebounds and a career-high 4.4 assists in 36.3 minutes per game. Among NBA leaders, the 6-10, 243-pound forward ranked first in double-doubles (65), first in defensive rebounds per game (9.6), third in total rebounds per game (12.5), fourth in points per game (26.1), tied for fourth in triple-doubles (3) and tied for eighth in three-pointers made (190). In 2013-14, Love became the first player in NBA history to record 2,000 points, 900 rebounds and 100 three-pointers in a single season, while also setting Minnesota’s franchise record for three-pointers made in a season, points per game, and free throws made (520) and attempted (633).

Love is the first player to average 26/12/4 over a full season since the NBA/ABA merger as Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Bob McAdoo had most recently accomplished that feat in 1975-76. He also scored in double figures in all 77 games last season, which includes 57 games with at least 20 points, a Wolves’ franchise record 25 30-point games and six 40-point performances. He collected a league-leading 24 contests with at least 20 points, 10 rebounds and five assists, and possessed the third highest PER in the NBA at 26.97, behind only Kevin Durant (29.90) and LeBron James (29.40).
but, but, but with Kevin Love it's not stacking the deck....:laff::laff::laff:...

I hate when people act like players can't be great just because their team is bad.

So boogie isn't an actual great player cause he was putting up numbers on a bad team? Kyrie wasn't actually a good player before LeBron came to Cleveland? Karl Anthony Towns wasnt a great player last year?

Just because your team is wack doesn't mean every player who puts up big numbers on poor teams is a fake great player

It is different Lebron went to CREATE the Miami super team to beat the Boston super team..KD went to an already super team to essentially make a super-superteam, when the team he was on could've done the job. Why should bron be forced to play against insurmountable odds. This team is much greater than the rest of the league (outside of the rockets). When Lebron went to Miami, you knew the Celtics, spurs, OKC, and the lakers(well they fell off) would be a problem..
Edit: Read your reply wrong. I agree

*Sigh* Hoebe fans

Love was a good player on a terrible team. We see tons of players year in and year out stat pad on awful teams.

Look at Paul George on the Thunder, some were putting him up as the next Lebron but you put him on a team with Westbrook and hes just another guy who has to find his niche in the offense

You cant call picking up a guy whos not a franchize player, who would never elevate his team to the playoffs, stacking the deck.

Dumbass Hoebe fan argument anyway, every team has sought to aquire pieces to win champioships. From Wilt going to the Lakers to Rodman going to the Bulls

Stop hating. :hhh:
