Lebron also possessed the ball for more than double the amount of time KD. Lebron averaged having the ball in his hands for 7.9 minutes per game of the finals compared to 3.5 minutes per game for Durant. Considering that you'd expect Lebron's numbers to dwarf Durants.

You do realize that bron also averaged 10 assist those extra minutes of him having the ball was playmaking rebounding all while trying to defend kd

And that's LeBron's fault for constructing the team that way. He insists on that style of play, rendering the team useless when he sits.

People kill me with this "Lebron has to carry a heavier load" narrative when he literally handpicks his teams!!

Coerce an organization into giving Tristan Thompson 80 million dollars then complain about "help", brehs

Am I wrong? LeBron wants to be the entire system, rather than play in a more equally distributive system.

Now that the brainiacs are in the house, please tell me who Lebron should have picked up that would have made this a better team? :sas1::sas2:

Ignore that TT was drafted to the Cavs BEFORE Lebron even came onto the team, idiots. With the Cavs already over the cap, what did you expect them to do with TT? Let him go for nothing, and then not sign anyone in his place because you're over the cap anyway?

Ya'all kill me with how little you think through this shyt. Talking like the Cavs were making brilliant personnel moves left and right before Lebron got here.

If not for Lebron then Kyrie/Wiggins would be running the East....with Dion Waiters, Anthony Bennett, and Anderson Varejao filling out the starting lineup. :mjlol:

Sounds like the OKC-Heat finals but coming out of that everyone was ok running with the Lebron owns KD narrative:martin:

The "Lebron owns Durant" narrative was already there because Lebron had a 7-2 regular season record against him (now 14-4). It continued after the Finals because Durant's roster was at least as stacked as Lebron's roster (Westbrook, Harden, Thabo, Ibaka, and a veteran bench) and everyone had seen it as an even matchup going in, especially with Bosh hurt, yet the Heat won in just 5.

There has only been a partial flip of the narrative now because everyone knew Golden State's roster was far better going in, regardless of what Lebron/Durant did.

you say all that to say what?.....nothing you said disputes what i said about the fact the rest of the warriors team was better than the rest of the cavs, and that was the difference in the series....

Lebron played well but don't bring up that meaningless triple double. Dubs washed them in an easy 5

meaningless? no...it shows that he cancelled out kd, which sas doesnt think happened cause 'he avg 35'....the dubs washing them just shows the rest of their team was better than the rest of the cavs....

that wasnt the reason people were saying that narrative...that series just added to the already running narrative cause of their head to head matchups when it came to w/l.....

Yea 20+ off the bench from Iggy is what killed them in game 5.
Game 3 the Cavs were like -12 or something when LeBron wasn't on the floor.

you're right, except it's the warriors shytted on the cavs, not kd shytted on bron...but i get it, people will take any chance they get to knock bron (or anyone they dont root for, even if it's not true), so yall can continue....

durant had to wave ride a 73 win team to get on lebron's level:russ:

Leading the team in scoring during the regular season and postseason then averaging 35 pts 8 rbs and 5 assists as Finals MVP is a little more than wave riding.

Let some of y'all tell it, KD had as big a part in this championship as James Jones did with the Miami Heat.
